Jayro González is a Nicaraguan guitarist and singer and Frailan Moran is a percussionist from Cuba. Both Jayro and Frailan have had extensive experience performing with different bands in their respective countries and now in Ireland. They created Cuba-Nica two years ago.
Their repertoire is a journey through the diversity of Latin American culture, e.g. the cadence and magic of Bossa Nova and Samba, the protest songs of Latin American political struggle, Nicaraguan folk songs, Cumbias, Boleros, more...Sones, Cha-cha, Candombes, given a unique sound as Jayro's passionate singing meets Frailan's Afro-Cuban rhythms.
