(I'm feeling content) | | THE STORY BEHIND THE MANX CAT AND WHY ITS TAILS GONE,ENJOY-Well if you believe in urban legends like Big Foot and flying saucers then perhaps it is. But if truth be told a Cabbit is an age old myth that begins with our "top-cat" ...the Manx!
The legend began about 200 years ago on an island in the Irish Sea called "The Isle of Man!" The Manx cat is believed to have evolved there from a mutation of the domestic cats found on the island. This mutation created a cat with little or no tail, and with a shortened spinal cord. By the way, if you are in the market for a Manx, make sure that you find a reputable breeder. This will lessen the chances that your cat will have undeveloped nerves at the end of his back.
Manx's are known for their personality and their ability to get along with other animals. They are sometimes called the "clowns of the cat family" or "the feline sports car" of the cat world because of their fast acceleration.
Having no tail and longer hind legs makes the Manx look like a rabbit, especially when running. Is it all starting to make sense now? Can you see how hundreds of years ago people might have thought how our friend the Manx could be a combination of a rabbit and cat...a Cabbit?
Many people are still convinced that such a critter exists. There have been many sightings over the years...of course they have all occurred at a place called Area 57! What do you think?

GUESS I FELT SILLY FOR THINKIN WHAT I DO ABT SOMEONE,AND AS I NO THERE FEELING ON THE MATTER,WELL?:( BUT I HAVE OFTEN THOUGHT LOVE OR LUST? FOR ME I THINK LUST AT 1ST,BUT NO I FEEL LOVE TO HER AND MAYBE LOVE IS GOING TO FAR TO SAY THAT!? BUT WHAT I CAN SAY IS,THAT IF THAT PERSON WOULD MEET ME,I WOULD FLY AROUND THE WORLD TO HAVE A COFFEE AND FLY HOME! ;) GUESS SAYIN,IF U NO FOR FACT YOU NEVER MEET THAT PERSON,THEN MAYBE BEST NOT TO FEEL HURT,BUT IF THERE HOPE ONE DAY TO MEET THAT PERSON,WELL,;) AND DONT FALL FOR 1ST PERSON U MEET,I HAVWE BEEN HERE ON LV MANY YEARS BUT HAVE ONLY ONCE HAS STRONG FEELING SOMEONE,AND I HOPE AFTER KNOWING THEM MANY YEARS,THEY COULD SEE SOMETHIN IN ME? BUT AS THIS E-FLING GOES, WHO KNOWS? I DONT LIKE THE TERM"E-FLING" MAKES IT SOUND AS IF UR FEELING ARE NOT TRUE.GUESS SAYIN,BE A FREIND TO THAT PERSON THAT U MGIHT LIKE,AND DONT TRY TO MAKE TO MAKE THEM LIKE YOU,JUST BE THERE FOR THEM AS YOU WOULD OF BEEN ANYWAY,AS LOVE OF FREIND,IS DIFFRENT TO "LOVE" BUT NOT MUCH,BUT WHAT DO I NO! LOL-NEVER BEEN IN LOVE,I DONT THINK? BUT I DO HAVE FEELING FOR A FREIND YES,BUT WOULD NEVER WANT TO SAY TO THEM AS WOULD HATE IT TO CHANGE FREINDSHIP,BUT I NO PEPOPLE THAT HAVE MET ONLINE AND LIVE HAPPY EVER AFTER!>? SO GIVES ME BIT OF HOPE,BE SURE WHAT U THINK 1ST,LOVE OR LUST? IF LUST,WELL,DONT GET HIRT BY IT,AND IF U THINK LOVE? WELL EVEN MORE CAREFULL! BUT ABOVE ALL SHOW YOUR LOVE BY BEING A FREIND THEY APPREICTE,AND CARE FOR AS FREIND,AND IF U CAN MAKE THAT PERSON FEEL LIKE A REAL FREIND TO YOU,AND CAN TALK TO THEM ABT ANYTHIN.,WELL MAYBE THATS AS CLOSE U MIGHT EVER GET,AND IF SO WELL ENJOY WHAT U HAVE AS A FREIND,:) FREINDSHIP&LOVE CAN BE MIXED UP,BUT THINK LONG AND HARD ABT IT! AS I HAVE! I HOPE TO MEET THIS PERSON ONE DAY,AND WOULD LOVE TO MEET HER! BUT IF NOT,WELL I AM JUST HAPPY MET THEM,LOVE,LIFE ADIVCE,NOT MY BEST THINGS!
