(I'm feeling nostalgic)

So as i was sitting at home today and going through my music I noticed that alot of my albums were pretty much played out and outdated and that made me think about today's music. If I still have the albums then they must be good, if not great. Today's music is always forever changing, which I admit I like, but what happened to staying at the top for years? It seems like today an artist is only at the top for not the music but for how much an ass they can make of themselves while getting caught. It seems like they just give anybody a microphone who appears to have some talent and put them in a studio and waste studio time on somebody that will never be anything but the flavor of the month. Some people do have talent I admit but some just need to keep away from the mic and leave the studio open for a real star to do their thing. And with the invention of the ipod who needs to go out and get albums right? Wrong. Yeah it's so much easier to download off of iTunes, but what happend to cd release parties? Left for the underground and struggling real talent in the world. This is Sleepyguy420 saying: "Its not about what you do or how you look, It's always about the music!".
