(I'm feeling calm) | | So, thought I'd write a blog tonight... Nothing really specific, but I was just sitting here going through some videos and going to friend's pages... Not much going on tonight except I need to get my ass in bed soon... I don't work until 8am, but that's early enough... lol
So, life is good... I pretty much have what I want... Thing have always worked out well for me in life... No, I'm not bragging or being uppity... I'm just saying that I have a good outlook on life and positive attitude... You know I question sometimes what I believe in when it comes to religion... I know that I believe and I hope that's good enough for HIM... But, I don't necessarily pray or go to church that much like I should... But, somehow I've been blessed with a good life... So, I just want to thank HIM for that.
You know I go back and forth often on why I'm on LV... The friends obviously... But, I could always keep in touch with friends other ways... There's things called cell phones and Instant Messenging... Anyway, I still don't really know why I'm here. Do you guys ever feel like this? I mean it's not a bad thing, but I often ask myself why I'm here... I don't do many videos... And when I do, its not like I do them to entertain people... I'm just not the entertaining type. When I do do videos it's more to express myself I guess... But, I don't have to do it... I mean the excitement of LV has long worn off... But, anyway, that's neither here nor there...
Lastly, I guess thanks to the people on here that care... There are a few of you. I've recently felt really content and happy...and friends here are a big part of it... I've never been the type to have A LOT of friends... Just a few QUALITY friends...

(I'm feeling amused) | | Ok, you're probably asking... What does he mean by "BIG Balls"?? lol Well, have you guys watched the show, WIPEOUT? Omg, if you haven't watched it...it's on Tuesday nights at 7pm... We always DVR it because we're usually busy with the kids at that point in the evening...
Anyway, this show is a huge human obstacle course... They get 25 people to compete and start off going through this ridiculous obstacle course... One part of the course there are these 4 Big Balls...and they basically have to hop across them to the other side... Most of them never make it and fall to their doom about 10 ft down into water... Anyway, they're sort of the staple of the show...
I forget the two host's names... They're both named John... But, the one guy used to do Talk Soup when I was in college... The guy is hilarious... The hosts basically make the show with their commentary... Well, where is all of this going?? It may be you had to be there type of thing... But, the other night he closes out the show saying... "For so and so...This is John whoever...Good night and BIG BALLS..." LOL Ok, my 4.5 year old son watches this show...its actually pretty family friendly and he hops around the house like he's on this obstacle course... Well I start cracking up when he says..."....and BIG BALLS"... So, now my 4 year old goes around the house repeating...BIG BALLS... It's actually pretty f'ing funny because he's obviously not referring to testicles... He's referring to the balls on the show...
I don't know it just caught me as funny... So, he walks around saying BIG BALLS now and it cracks him up because he sees Daddy laughing... Since the show is DVR'd the other night I actually just kept rewinding and the guy kept saying big balls over and over and my son and I were in tears... Oh, the little things in life...

(I'm feeling content) | | Hey LiveVideo... What's up!?
I was bored, so I thought I'd write a little blog... It's about Sundays, and how much I love them...
Why do I like Sundays so much? Well, Sunday is always time to be with the family... Mornings are the best because we do something with the kids and hang out... Whether it's the park, or just hanging out in the backyard... It's family time, and that's what we do.... love it!
Also, my wife and I have this deal where one of us sleeps in and the other gets a nap in the day... So, it's a win win situtation... IF you get up early, you get to look forward to a nap later... If you sleep in, you feel great the whole day anyway :)
Another reason I love Sundays...this is for September through January.... FOOTBALL!!! I am a Rams' fanatic, and I have season tickets... IF it's not a home game, I'm at home on the couch rooting on my team...LOVE IT! Also, I play fantasy football...so, even when not watching the Rams...every game matters...
Lastly, I play ice hockey EVERY Sunday... all year round... I love the exercise, and I love to play hockey... I'm very competitive, and I've been playing hockey for like 25 years...longer than a lot of you have been alive I'm sure :) It's just like my biggest passion next to my family :) So, am I happy right now about it being Sunday??...YES!! Why???? I'm about to lay down for a nap...when I wake up, I'm going to eat dinner with the fam, then head to my hockey game at 9pm... Plus, my wife and I were able to go on a date this afternoon since gma watched the kids for 4 hours... This Sunday absolutely rocked my face off.... Now, if I score a goal tonight and win the game... well, it's all just gravy at this point...

Maybe it's a good thing? Either way, my initial feeling is like I'm missing something... Something was taken away...
On the other hand, something about this feels positive...
Why am I writing about this?? I guess it's just nice to vent now and then...
My outlook on life has always been the same... EVERYTHING works out in the end... right? Things happen for a reason (that's not the outlook)...I'm not sure if I believe things happen for a reason or if life is just one big coincidence...
I'm sure I'll look back on tomorrow at some point and say, ok, wow...THAT is why it happened...
Until that point, I'm going to make the best of this fucking website lol :)
Vids coming soon...what will they be about?? Only time will tell...
When you hang out with people like MOTC, lilosh13 and Stanky...good Lord, who knows!!! ;)
Hopefully all of you asses out there show this channel some love once it's worthy of that

Yes, Doug fixed my computer... we were all arond it for a long time, and finally it was something pretty simple and we nailed it!! Well, he mainly did...
Anyway, this has like totally changed my view on LV...probably for now...lol :) I tend to go back and forth on this place, and I've been told by certain people I can be predictable and I get down about it about every few months or so...
However, I don't like being predictable... SOOOOOO, new LV era for StLouisTim baby... New attitude, new everything!! Vids should start poppin out again... I will be more active in the community, and I will make this thing what it is... does that make sense... It will be what I make of it...
Thank you to a good friend of mine here that gave me great advice on all this stuff... Actually to a couple of good friends that I talked to... You guys know who you are...
I'm excited. I'm pumped up... There's like a lot of vids I want to watch now...and see what people were actually saying!! lol
Anyway, stop by and say hi sometime... any and all of you... It's time to get this partay started....RIGHT!!! lol

I ask myself pretty much on a daily basis...why do I log in here? Especially now when my sound on my computer is f'ed up and I can't watch vids... lol
I don't know. A lot has changed in the past year or so with this site... A lot has changed with me and how I view a lot of people on this site. Maybe I'm just being bitchy and it's just me. Whatever it is, it's wearing on me bad this time. I know I know it's the old "I might leave" trick right? I'm not so sure... I don't threaten to leave...to whom am I threatening to? I have very few friends on this site, and the ones I do have I don't need LV to communicate with them... So, I think it's just me venting and getting things off of my chest. I can't even say why I'm feeing this way... Just apathy I guess... Like, what's the use of me logging in here?
Any feedback from people that know me and actually care is welcome... Especially those of you that are close friends of mine... Give me a reason to stay please... Or, do I want to go? We'll see.

(I'm feeling aggravated) | | So, yeah... Still no sound on this f'ing computer of mine... It has to be a virus I'm thinking. Sure, a friend of mine told me how to fix the damn thing, but I've been really lazy and haven't wiped the drive yet... I do have an external hard drive too to back things up LOL...oh well... My problem, I'll deal with it... But, I'll tell you...it's a pain in the ass being on LV with no sound.... I can't hear any of my friend's videos and it's frustrating. Something I used to take for granted which is watching videos I can't do anymore. Which means I can't comment or really partake in the community activiites. Dumb I know. Well, I'm starting to miss being able to see some of my close friends' videos, so I'm going to do something soon about this.
So, what else is going on?
Oh yeah, our subdivision was hit by a tornado with 136mph winds a week ago tonight... Scary stuff! Tomorrow our insurance adjuster comes out to assess all the damage. We've already had a contractor tarp the roof and siding since some of it is missing! The contractor will be here too when the adjuster comes, so hopefully they'll agree on everything and we can just get the work started on the house. The good thing is we'll probably be getting a new roof, siding, fence and deck out of the deal...I guess that's what home insurance is for. I guess that's why we have an escrow account and pay those fuckers 100s of dollars a month...so when a tornado rolls through the neighborhood our ass is covered! I'll tell ya what though, that adjuster better put up the cash and assess the damage correctly. At least our contractor will be there too to point them to the damage and say they need this this this this and that.
The tornado was scary...Main reason: Sirens never went off... I wake up to some chaotic activity outside...rain, hail, lightning... Something woke me up... Then, everything stops and goes silent.....ummmmm, I'm thinking, isn't this what happens just before a tornado? Sure enough, a few seconds later I hear what sounds like a train approaching from the distance from the South side of the house... As I realize that's what it is, I wake up my wife and as we're grabbing the kids out of their beds the winds hit the house and it sounds like a huge bass speaker...as we're running to our finished basement I hear debris hitting the house and shit flying around outside... HOLY CRAP! We get into a corner between our love seat and sofa in the finished lower level and I flip an ottoman over and we get down beneath it... The walk out patio on that level has a door with a cut out in the middle...luckily that glass never broke... We ended up having no glass on the house break, but we lost shingles and siding... Plus, our fence that closes in our backyard was damaged in spots...Not to mention our wooden deck was compromised... The whole south side of our house...the siding was broken in pieces and holes in it from the debris hitting it...
The West side of our house which is our backyard looked like a war zone... pieces of fence, shingles and branches in our yard...our neighbors that back up to us had a tree down in their yard and their fence was completely destroyed...not to mention their little boy's wooden playground thingy was in shambles up against the fence... The front yard had debris in it along with glass all over our drive way from our neighbor's windows that had broken out...

(I'm feeling accomplished) | | So, I don't really write a lot of blogs, but I thought I'd tell you guys about our hockey championship. I play in a league in Missouri, and recently (tonight) we won the championship. We won 4-1! I didn't score any goals in the championship game, but it was a great team effort all around... Hockey is a passion of mine... I've been playing hockey since I was 9... Something about scoring goals has always just been a natural high for me... Plus, it's great exercise and a great way to release some aggression a few times a week... Currently I'm playing on Friday and Sunday nights...
I have a tournament coming up the weekend of April 18th...We play 5 games in 3 days...It's intense, but it's hella fun! Last year, we lost in the championship game... But, I feel we'll win it this year... :)
Anyway, thought I'd share my accomplished feeling with you guys... Playing hockey is like my favorite thing in the world to do... Going to Rams' games is a close 2nd.
Hope you guys all had a great weekend...Mine culminated very nicely with the championship...I'm wearing my new t-shirt proudly with CHAMPIONS written across it :) Ice Midwest 07/08 Champs!

(I'm feeling apathetic) | | Well, I'm feeling pretty apathetic tonight... No, I'm not in a bad mood. I just feel less excited about LV right now than I have in a long time. I just read a blog from a good friend of mine StankyGeesehouse...She mentioned some really interesting views on this place right now... Since the "launch", people are going live more often, and the video making has dropped. That is what used to carry this place... The creativeness of people was shown through their videos... And the community aspect was brought out in the comments and replies to those comments.
That seems to be going away. It's sort of like, what is the point? I don't know, I'm just feeling apathetic about this place. It's like a small high school but worse... I actually enjoyed high school...it had less drama in it. Anyway, I'm going to stop being so pessimistic now...It's not in my nature. I just wonder if my excitement level can be brought back up...
