(I'm feeling blah) | | Well, just finished the pond transfer. It went pretty well, could have been a bit worse, could have been a bit better. I should have got a liner a lot bigger then I needed instead of the exact size I needed. That would have made life a bit easier but its all good, as of right now its holding water and seems to be fine.
This didn't come without a price though, a year ago when I bought this house and built this pond I built it for fish I already had, and during winter I lost them all except one, a catfish with an attitude named Whiskers.
Well, sadly he didn't make it. I am not sure why, every other fish (and my turtle Gilligan) made it but Whiskers didn't. I am pretty bummed about it, I mean, I understand it happens but to keep him for a year it sucks to lose him during a transfer.

Keep getting a lot of messages asking what's going on, where have I been, why am I so quiet, et cetera. Just wanted to let everyone know everything's all good, just been getting shit done. You know how it goes, the mortgage comes first. ;)
Hope everyone else is doing well, I made a couple videos but haven't really had time to review them let alone edit/upload them, but when I do I will put something up.
This weekend I am draining my pond and putting in a brand new liner, I am currently contemplating how the hell am I going to accomplish that? My pond is 20 feet long, 7 feet wide, and 4 feet deep. It is serious. 4000+ Gallons!
I have to remove the fish/turtle from it which should be interesting at best because instead of my turtle eating the feeder fish he decided to let them breed and now there are literally a hundred fish in there. The pond is in bad shape currently but I almost hate to disturb it, it has it's own little ecosystem going in my backyard. I wish I knew more about that stuff, it is interesting to witness. When I clean out filters there are aquatic bugs/worms/who the fuck knows all living in it, the ecosystem has grown to such a point that I don't even have to feed the fish anymore, they are able to live off the other things living in the water, and they are growing, and breeding.
Its fucking weird but awesome.
Anyway, my point in bringing that up is if nothing else I am sure I will film parts if not all of that process, I am expecting to get up early Sat morning and have the entire process complete by that night. Wish me luck, I'm going to need it.

One email I received was so well thought out I asked the sender if I could respost it here for all to see, and lucky for me that person agreed:

1st - could be innocent enough, depending on the context- or omissions.
2nd- Ouch! Not looking good, but perhaps there's an explanation...somewhere
3rd-That's the "I gotcha"! There's some "wiggle room", but under the assumed and reasonable expectations of what is fair and justifiable behavior for a person his age, sex, and marital status, sadly, one can call out (a loud) "foul", as to his intentions and aims!
I first watched Jen's video, about a couple of hours ago. I then watched Bekkahs (someone I have great respect for her character) and felt uneasy to say the least. I concluded with Zack's last night video. In both Jen's and Zack's, the word "context" is used frequently, suggesting chicanery and machinations by yourself. While I like Zack, admire his talent, etc., his body language did not offer much conviction to his arguments. I also thought he was grasping a bit too much, and why would you choose "that moment" to apologise? It doesn't seem to add up. I could go further, but I'm sure you've concluded the same, and a bit more as I have.
What truly sounded an alarm was suggesting Nash "makes the snowballs" and Mac "throws the snowballs"... Why bring Nash in it? Nash is the corroborative witness to damning testimony-double ouch! Ok, admittedly I view many folks on here with my heart first, and cerebral matter secondly. (it's a failing rooted in ideal intentions). But if I'm any judge of character whatsoever, Nash has ALWAYS been overtly, exceptionally kind to EVERYONE, and "behind the scenes" much kinder still, helpful, and classy in email correspondances. (Like I'm telling YOU anything?) I don't believe Zack's charge. Additionally,I also know two things about yourself: 1. You only make statements you are able to back up and factually prove. 2. Your "honesty" has never been reproached or impeached, and I have yet to see an instance whereby it even attempted to be challenged, less an ad hominem attack.
This is kind of a sad day for me. I'm beginning to wonder if a social networking video site really works for folks my age and culture? Strangely enough, to my eyes, it DOES seem to for folks in their twentys and younger. Time and time, "my" generation (and older) seems to disappoint, when in fact as corny as it may sound to you, we should be setting an example as older, wiser (in theory), and more experienced persons. I could go on and on, to the extreme point ad nauseum, but i'm sure you "get my drift".
Finally, and I'll end this epistle, there is a short story by Hawthorne called "Young Goodman Brown". In it, people are viewed a particular way during the day, but in the reality of the night, shone another. If you should ever encounter this brief read, perhaps this series of recent events on LV will resonate upon your thoughts.

I've removed the name of the original writer since Jen and Zack seem to be a bit vindictive and not only unfriend anyone that doesn't agree with them, they also have their friends do it. It seems so funny to me that they tell us we all attack at once yet Poe never entered this, Erica, Elvanda, Skehan, Jessie, or Bob, yet if you think about them they were drawing KatyBrewer in, Mango in, and GlassChick in just to name a couple. I am sure there are more that I haven't noticed yet because I keep to my own area.
In the end I think I've learned one thing about this situation. I like drama, I admit I like drama, I do drama content, and I don't see a problem with it as long as it doesn't become hate content, and as long as I am not starting drama just so I can have a say in it. Jen and Zack are still leaving snide little comments on people's videos talking trash but all they say in video is they want this done.
Why do you keep creating more drama if you want it done?
Just something to think about.
The other interesting thing is Jen. Jen has been sending everyone gifts with messages in them. Why can't you send a standard PM Jen? Why is the gift system your new messenger of choice?
If I know my audience at this point you are expecting some sort of proof of this.
As requested, she is even sending the messages to the young girl we were so concerned about in the first place.
My question is why did MMM, Hatter, and JW deserve a public apology in a video and this girl they tormented and accused of keeping her mother sick so she could get money gets a shitty mention in a gift?
I believe this girl deserves a public apology for spreading that rumor and until that day, Jen and Zack, you're both pieces of shit.
