(I'm feeling contemplative) | | A close friend was laid to rest this past monday, and I cannot wrap my head around the "why" of it all...she was a baby, only 31, and she left three boys behind. They say it was an accidental overdose, but is anything really accidental??? Destiny or design, it really does not matter...dead is dead...and there is no coming back from that, no second chance, no do over...I can only hope that the rumours are true, and I will see her again someday, but for now that is no consolation. She is gone and I am sad and that is pretty much the end of it. Mortality is fleeting, we must live life to the fullest and grab every drop of sweetness that comes our way. We must fight, claw, kick and scratch to make our mark on this world before we find that we have run out of time...and we never know WHEN our time is up until it is....

I am glad for the opportunity to get to know you better, some of you more than others-but that is life.....I wish I could get to know each and every one of you, but that wish is not really based in reality so how about this? Tell me ONE thing about you that you feel defines you in some way. It can be a talent, skill, beauty, attitude, SOMETHING that you feel makes you like no one else. In return, you may ask me anything about myself.....but bear in mind, one detail about you, and one question about me. Sound fair???
