Congress Trying to Implement the Medical Records Gun Ban
-- Step #2 in fraudulent budget process comes to a vote on Wednesday

Congress is moving closer to a showdown over the largest expansion of
government in modern U.S. history -- a bill which would require
virtually every single American to buy government-approved health
insurance, whether they wanted it or not. And, in the process, that
bill would feed all of your most confidential medical data into an
enormous database, which could be used to take away your guns.
This is a bit complicated. But here's where we are:
Once a year, the 1974 Budget Act allows Congress to pass a bill --
solely for the purpose of balancing the budget -- and that bill cannot
be filibustered in the Senate. Hence, it can be passed with only fifty
Democrat votes (plus the vice president), without any Republican
support.
Now, that supposed "budget-balancing bill" is called the "reconciliation
bill" -- and it can only be created if the annual budget resolution
mandates it.
Three weeks ago, the Senate considered its version of the annual budget
resolution. Gun Owners of America asked you to oppose passage of the
Senate version of the budget resolution for two reasons:
* First, although the Senate version of the bill did not contain
language mandating the giant anti-gun database and the huge $10,000+
per person government health mandate, the Pelosi-devised House version
did.
* Second, although Senate Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad (D-ND)
protested mightily that the Senate version did not mandate the anti-gun
database and health mandate, GOA found out that Conrad intended all
along to capitulate in House/Senate conference to the Pelosi language.
Now, the budget resolution has come back from conference, and guess
what?
Budget Chairman Conrad stabbed us in the back, just as GOA thought he
would. His actions meant that Senators didn't have to go on record
voting for gun control the first time around.
The conference report gives Senate and House Republicans until September
to cave in and agree to pass the anti-gun database and $10,000+ health
mandate. And, if they do not, the Left Wing Democratic leadership will
pass their own bill with 50 Senate votes -- and no Republicans.
And, incidentally, when we say "anti-gun database," we mean that
everything your kid told his pediatrician about whether you have a gun
collection will be searchable by the government. And people with
Alzheimer's, ADHD, and other disorders will begin losing their gun
rights just as quickly as veterans -- who have seen the ramifications of
being on a government database.
Although the next vote on this budget resolution will not be the final
battle in this eight-month war, GOA is asking senators and
representatives to vote against the sleazy, corrupt budget resolution
conference report -- scheduled for a Senate vote this Wednesday.
Incidentally, the one thing that the federal government can do to reduce
health costs is to remove the anti-gun federal laws which prohibit more
Americans from using firearms to defend themselves and their families.
ACTION:
Contact your senators and representative. Ask them to vote against the
"fraud scheme" which the budget resolution conference report has become.
Please use the Gun Owners Legislative Action Center at
http://www.gunowners.org/activism.htm to send your legislators the
pre-written e-mail message below.
You can also call them toll-free at 1-877-762-8762.
----- Pre-written letter -----
Dear
The budget resolution conference report would set the stage for
legislation to require virtually every American to purchase
government-approved health insurance. And it would use government
control over health insurance to require providers to feed our most
confidential medical data into an anti-gun government database.
When I say "anti-gun database," I mean that everything a kid tells his
pediatrician about his dad's gun collection will be searchable by the
government. And people with Alzheimer's, ADHA, and other disorders will
begin losing their gun rights just as quickly as veterans -- who have
seen the ramifications of being on a government database for the last
decade.
The budget resolution was sold to the Senate under a lie. Senators were
told that the Senate version contained no "reconciliation instructions"
when, all along, Budget Chairman Kent Conrad intended to immediately
capitulate in conference.
Please show that such underhanded tactics are unacceptable in the
Congress. Please vote against the budget resolution conference report.
Sincerely,

Is Swine Flu A Biological Weapon?
Or are relatively limited number of deaths an indication that the panic is worse than the actual threat?
Paul Joseph Watson

Monday, April 27, 2009
There are some factors that suggest the swine flu killing people in Mexico may be a biological weapon, but obviously no such conclusion can be drawn at this time. The World Health Organization and the U.S. government have been quick to deny such claims.

Government “Template” for Mass Vaccination
Kurt Nimmo
Infowars
April 27, 2009
It’s called “ring vaccination” or “traced vaccination” — a round ‘em up and vaccinate program forced on the population by the government. DHS and FEMA have plans in place to accomplish this, as D. H. Williams wrote for the Daily Newscaster in February. An Indiana county municipal official in the vicinity of Chicago revealed a plan to “vaccinate the entire population within 48 hours” as part of a Hazard Mitigation Plan.
Read the Regional Counter Terrorism Task Forces document on "POD" mass vaccination (PDF).
In 2006, a pastor came forward and told Alex Jones about a nationwide FEMA program designed to train religious leaders on how to pacify their flocks in the event of a national crisis. In addition to a declaration of martial law, property and firearm seizures, and forced relocation, the FEMA program envisions mass vaccinations. “In the event of an outbreak or a bio-terrorist attack, there’d be a mass vaccination… they have a program nationwide ‘Pills in People’s Palm In 48 Hours’,” an anonymous pastor told Jones.
In 2004, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, along with ten county health departments, organized a series of exercises designed to assist local health department officials to exercise plans to mass vaccinate entire communities. It was dubbed “Flu-X” and it encouraged participants to get a flu shot.
Now we have a “template” to be used for mass vaccination.
In a document released by the Regional Counter Terrorism Task Forces, “specific dispensing site operational plans and standard operating procedures” for mass vaccination are put forward:
The dispensing of medications/vaccine is a core function of the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) plan and preparedness. It is the most complex and challenging of all the functions since large numbers of persons must be provided medication/vaccine in just a few days when an event occurs. The key to survival for most people is to provide antibiotics/vaccine as soon as possible and/or before an individual begins to show any clinical symptoms. This plan describes the dispensing of medications to a large number of people for prophylaxis of asymptomatic individuals as well as treatment of symptomatic persons.
The SNS is the United States’ national repository of antibiotics, chemical antidotes, antitoxins, and who knows what else. It is jointly run by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Department of Homeland Security.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano mentioned the SNS stockpile when she declared the so-called Mexican swine flu outbreak a public health emergency.

| | HR 4279 | | | Saturday, June 7, 2008 (6:08 PM) (I'm feeling aggravated) | | H.R. 4279: Prioritizing Resources and Organization for Intellectual Property Act of 2008
http://www. govtrack. us/congress/billtext. xpd?bill=h110-4279
House Approved HR4279 - The New Property Seizure Law!
Submitted by SadInAmerica on 2008, May 10 - 9:06am...
The criminals in the federal government are now trying to legalize the seizure of computers and other property under the guise of strengthening intellectual property laws..
HR 4279 or the Prioritizing Resources and Organization for Intellectual Property Act of 2008 which was recently passed by the U.S. House of Representatives, will give the government draconian powers to do just this. This legislation gives the government the power to seize property that facilitates the violation of intellectual property laws. The legislation also mandates the formation of a formal Intellectual Property Enforcement Division within the office of the Deputy Attorney General to enforce this madness. In addition, a new office called the Office of the United States Intellectual Property Enforcement Representative is created within the Executive Office of the President. If you boil it down to brass tax, this legislation allows the U.S. government to lawfully seize your computer if it has one unauthorized mp3 file on its hard drive. It also provides the authorization for the creation of offices within the executive branch to enforce a law that is impossible to enforce..
Below is taken from section 202 of HR 4279 that gives the federal government the authorization to seize property that may have been used to facilitate an intellectual property violation. The language in this section indicates that a violation would include downloading a single unauthorized mp3 file on to a computer..
d) Unauthorized Recording of Motion Pictures- Section 2319B(b) of title 18, United States Code, is amended to read as follows:
..(b) Forfeiture and Destruction; Restitution-
..(1) CIVIL FORFEITURE PROCEEDINGS- (A) The following property is subject to forfeiture to the United States:
..(i) Any copies of a motion picture or other audiovisual work protected under title 17 that are made without the authorization of the copyright owner..
..(ii) Any property constituting or derived from any proceeds obtained directly or indirectly as a result of a violation of subsection (a)..
..(iii) Any property used, or intended to be used, to commit or facilitate the commission of a violation of subsection (a) that is owned or predominantly controlled by the violator or by a person conspiring with or aiding and abetting the violator in committing the violation, except that property is subject to forfeiture under this clause only if the Government establishes that there was a substantial connection between the property and the violation of subsection (a)..
This is the 1980s equivalent of the government being given the legal authority to seize cassette recorders if they were used in recording a song off of the radio. Under this legislation, downloading even a single mp3 file unauthorized by the copyright owner will give the federal government the power to take your computer. There is no way that the federal government can enforce this. In fact, it is insane that the U.S. House of Representatives is more concerned about keeping the record and movie industry happy by passing this legislation than they are with real issues. Incredibly, this bill was passed by a vote of 410-11. Two of the dissenting voters included Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul..
John Conyers a fascist and anti-Constitutionalist member of the U.S. House of Representatives who originally introduced this bill made the following statements describing the purpose of the legislation. His statements were republished in a Billboard Magazine report..
(1) prioritize intellectual property protection to the highest level of our government;
(2) make changes to IP law to enhance the ability of IP owners to effectively enforce their rights;
(3) make it easier to criminally prosecute repeat offenders;
(4) increase penalties for IP violations that endanger public health and safety..
Basically speaking, Conyers believes that downloading illegal mp3 and movie files endanger public health and safety. Conyers is either an insane individual that belongs in a mental institution for making such a ridiculous statement or he and everybody else who voted for this bill is in the back pockets of the RIAA, the MPAA and the rest of the music and movie industry. Common sense would dictate that such a law is unenforceable and should have not been seriously entertained. This is just another sign that this country is run by a bunch of fascists who are trying to find as many ways to undermine civil liberties under the guise of enforcing the law. What is really ridiculous about this, is the fact that the Constitution which is the supreme law of the land is violated by these fascist tyrants in Congress every single day of the week.
If they were actually serious about enforcing the law, why are they not following the Constitution? Why do they reject it?
Maybe if the movie and music industry stopped putting out horrible content, their sales would be a little better. It seems as if they are trying to blame people who download unauthorized mp3 and movie files for their shortcomings in business. Perhaps they should do what smaller independent music and film production companies have done and embrace the technological revolution instead of stifling it by trying to push this anti-American legislation down our throats..
It is understandable to go after people who are illegally profiting off of selling material that isn’t their own but there really isn’t a need for government involvement. The record industry should sue those people if they believe that there are groups or individuals who are unfairly profiting off of their work. A court can decide if the claims they present are valid. However, to give powers to an already corrupt government to seize private property from people who are violating copyright laws by merely having downloaded mp3 files or movie files on their computer is unenforceable and beyond the scope of government. Section 301 of the bill establishes the Office of the United States Intellectual Property Enforcement Representative and section 501 of the bill establishes the Intellectual Property Enforcement Division within the Department of Justice under the office of the Deputy Attorney General. These particular offices will be established to serve as the enforcement arm for this legislation..
How many more powers is this corrupt legislature going to give to a renegade executive branch that is already engaging in perpetual war, setting up a police state, authorizing torture, destroying national sovereignty and other horrors? The federal government is full of petty bureaucrats and tyrants that can’t do anything right to begin with, and the U.S. House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly to expand government again through this legislation. With 410 of these tyrants voting for this legislation, it is doubtful that we will be successful in defeating this bill in the U.S Senate or if it goes to the dictator in chief..

| | Weddings and gowns | | | Wednesday, April 16, 2008 (2:04 AM) (I'm feeling awake) | | Figuring out my wedding dress is trickier than i'd thought. I have some neat ideas of what i want and have sort of started, but i'm no good at sewing with a machine. Just don't have enough practice I suppose. Met a nice friend who has fixed a layer onto the original inspiring dress, and i just finished figuring out the other layers. I have them all pinned, but figure it's easier to take them to her to sew with her machine than do them by hand myself. Trying to figure out what kind of embellishments to add is also proving a trial. I definitely will spend time hand sewing some embroidery and tiny glass beads, but which designs? it's to be a celtic-ish wedding, but there are many styles of celtic knotwork to consider. Argh! I'll probably post some pictures of what i'm up to later; been meaning to document the progress of the dress.
This is what i found and started with; adding "petals" between the short sections to make it more modest as well as a train. What I liked most about this were the sleeves =) My fiancee is going to wear his kilt for the wedding; i'll be his faerie princess ^_^
Some of the embellishments i've been considering for the petals:

Virgo gets along with Cancer pretty well, one of the better zodiac matches for them. Rank: 8/10 Virgo and Cancer Intimate:
This is a compatible pairing that produces sex, love and a possible marriage. Cancer is a Water sign and Virgo is an Earth sign. These two friends will bond for life on a sexual, spiritual and romantic level. They will find one another physically alluring and very sensual. Virgo is supposed to be the virgin, but Cancer will laugh when they hear that. Virgo will be kinky in bed and turn on Cancer. There is an element of surprise when these two signs merge in a relationship. There are also secrets and mysteries Cancer brings into this relationship. Cancer and Virgo are considered lucky together and can make more money and their dreams can become realities. Cancer rewards Virgo loyalty and together they can build a home and a family. They will remain lifelong friends if the sexual relationship ends. Children will play a role eventually.
Virgo and Cancer Compatibility Aspects Cancer's responses are emotional while Virgo's are analytical, but their personalities mesh so well that it matters not. Virgo takes some warming up, but Cancer knows how to start the fire. This can turn into a secure, comfortable, and affectionate relationship. Cancer's struggle for financial security works perfectly with goal-oriented Virgo. Cancer understands Virgo's fussy ways, and steady Virgo helps balance variable Cancer. Cancer's dependency neatly complements Virgo's need to protect, and each is anxious to please the other.
More About VIRGO And CANCER Instinctively responsive to the needs of others, Virgos readily adapt to different people and changing circumstances by finding ways to make themselves useful. They do not have a desire to be in the spotlight. However, they can be very successful at promoting those who are. Virgos are meticulous, practical perfectionists. They abhor sloppiness and disorganization. They are sometimes seen as being far too picky. However, when you want a job done right the first time get a Virgo to do it. Some Virgos are not above using an inability to achieve perfection as the excuse for their own idleness and unproductiveness, but this is out of character with their true nature. Virgos have an inner drive to serve others, which must be met for them to be happy. They love to apply their analytical skills to solving the problems of others. They are generally perceived to be quite witty and entertaining, if a tad too critical. Because Virgos are worriers, they are prone to hypochondria. Virgos love material possessions and find it hard to accept anything that is not of the very best quality available. The Cancer's first love is its home and family. They love to nurture those around them. No sacrifice is too large to ensure their home is secure and their loved ones are safe and happy. They are very kind and sharing. Cancers are also very moody, and often retreat into themselves to regenerate, or sometimes sulk. The quickest way for them to rebound from such moments is to do what they do best: nurture others. Cancers can be very iron-willed and like to have things their way. They are very sensitive to slights and hurt easily. When pained Cancers will retreat into themselves and brood. Although generally they do not like confrontation, Cancers are not above seeking revenge against those that hurt them. Cancers are compassionate and freely show their affection for others. They will set their problems aside to assist others in solving theirs. Being extremely intuitive, they often know what is upsetting someone without being told. They are great communicators and can often help those in trouble with just a few words. Overall, Cancers are quite gregarious. They love to socialize with their friends and family. Their need to care for those in their circle makes them an asset to any family.

| | Virgo and Cancer 2 | | | | Saturday, April 12, 2008 (9:33 AM) | | The Virgo In Love: Virgo is particular, practical and realistic rather than romantic. Virgos are slow-burning fuses in the art of lovemaking. Once properly ignited, situations can lead to an explosion of white heat that takes quite a while to cool down. They are, however, very fastidious and critical of the personal habits of others, which can be a big turn-off and prevent them from achieving a fulfilling relationship, or even participating at all in the messy business of involvement. They are unwilling to discuss their innermost feelings with anyone save a very trusted confidante or lover. Anyone who wishes to get to know them deeply must be prepared to persevere, in which case they will prove a lifelong friend and ally or lover. Once Virgos have committed themselves to a lover, anyone showing interest in their lover is likely to spark a bout of jealousy. Overall, Virgos are devoted and readily willing to serve their mates. The Cancer In Love: In relationships, Cancers, the most nurturing sign of the zodiac, seek a secure nest. They are best involved with someone who understands their creativity and will accept them for what they are, moods and all. Because their emotions are so powerful, they seek a partner who is stable and responsive, while at the same time understanding of their intermittent need for solitude, alternating with a gregarious desire for companionship and stimulation. Cancers are protective, even possessive. While not domineering, they can become very jealous lovers when they feel insecure. Although they present a hard shell to the outside world, Cancers are sensitive and caring by nature. As a lover, Cancers seek security and fidelity. Cancers can be deeply wounded if the one they care for betrays their trust (which is never given lightly). Cancers are poetic and romantic and extremely sensual. When with a lover they trust, both they and their mate will flourish. Ideal Jobs Include: Virgos are well-suited to be chemists, doctors, investigators, nutritionists, veterinarians, managers and entrepreneurs. Cancers are well-suited to be doctors, pharmacists, teachers, nutritionists, chefs, realtors -- any position in which they can feel truly useful. Planet Virgo: Mercury Planet Cancer: The Moon Virgo + Cancer
Earth + Water = Mud
Virgo and Cancer are both sensitive female signs. There will be a rich and fertile combination of energies, on all levels, when the two of you get together. The sensitive Moon, which rules Cancer, plus your intellectually brilliant ruler, Mercury, combine in a very dramatic play of celestial forces.
You will probably meet via some mutual friendship. Cancer can be a great friend and very sympathetic, but at times you will have trouble understanding them — they are moody and sensitive, and their emotions swing from one extreme to the other. This is a little outside Virgo's domain.
If you ask a Cancerian to think things through, they'll look at you as if you're mad, and ask, 'But can't you feel what I'm feeling?' You probably can, but being a Virgo, you need to think as well as feel.
Cancer's response could really exasperate you at times. You are at opposite ends of the spectrum in the way you deal with problems – Cancer, emotionally, and you, intellectually.
However, Cancer is a sign that is basically friendly to you. This means you can slowly but surely accept and start experiencing their responsive side. Likewise, Cancer will become more reasonable about things as the connection between you gets stronger. Your love will grow over time.
There's one very important thing that you will need to learn to do: keep a tight rein on your tendency to judge and criticise. Cancer is sensitive, to say the least, and will not be able to handle incessant demands for perfection.
This will, unfortunately, also apply in the area of sexuality. Make sure you don't ask for 'performances' that aren't in tune with Cancer's easy-going, slower and more receptive nature.
You'll feel an instant friendship with Cancerians born between 22 June and 3 July. Most of your time will be spent in social activities, and it is through friendship that your love will strengthen. You can rely on each other to be there during the good and the bad times.
Cancerians born between 4 July and 13 July are not only very sensitive; they are also prone to explosive outbursts. It's not a good idea to criticise them too much. They may seem very shy, but they won't think twice about letting you know when you've crossed the line.
You have really strong and long standing ties with any Cancer born between 14 July and 22 July. You and these Cancerians will have a most satisfying emotional and physical relationship.
Cancer + Virgo
This is a rich and fertile combination of two feminine zodiac signs, ruled by the Moon and Mercury respectively. Cancer and Virgo in combination produce great results on all levels of experience. Your sensitive ruler, the Moon, and the intellectually brilliant Mercury of Virgo combine in the most wonderful play of heavenly forces.
Expect great friendship and understanding from this recipe, but remember, Virgo will sometimes have trouble understanding your mood swings. Virgo will say, 'Think things through and don't be so emotional about it', and you'll reply, 'But can't you feel what I'm feeling?'
You are at opposite ends of the spectrum: you, Cancer, are emotional, and Virgo is intellectual. Cancer is a friendly sign of Virgo, so Virgo will, over time, learn to be more responsive, to be more like you. Likewise, you can become more reasonable, more like Virgo, as the bond between you strengthens.
The one area you must learn to handle is Virgo's tendency to criticise and judge. You tend to be too vulnerable for their ruthless and incessant demand for perfection. This will also affect your most private area, sexuality. Virgo demands a performance that is not in keeping with your slower and more receptive nature.
You have some difficulties communicating with Virgos born between 24 August and 2 September. Although Mercury has a strong influence on them, they are not chatterboxes. You have to dig a little deeper and persist in your search for the deeper side of their nature. But once you crack open this hard nut, you'll be well rewarded, with a wellspring of response and loving banter.
Marriage prospects are particularly strong if you choose a Virgo born between 3 September and 12 September. The two of you can develop very strong bonds, emotionally and sexually, when you get to know them. Be patient: they often don't open up quickly. If you don't hang in there, you'll miss the more loving qualities on offer. If you do, you'll be treated to affection, from someone who wants to give you security and creature comforts.
You'll be a good friend to most Virgos, but in particular those born between 13 September and 22 September. Get ready for some high-class social action if you get involved with one of these Virgos. They'll bring a smile to your face, and their general knowledge will keep you interested and entertained. | | What IS evil? (old blog from my myspace) | | | | Saturday, April 12, 2008 (9:13 AM) | | From the article: What is Evil anyway? "The linking of an ecology of the greatest potential "good" with sexual and other appetitive energy use in a public moral code that might serve us publicly as a nation is sorely needed. Walter Lippmann noted this need many years ago in his book, The Public Philosophy. "When reason no longer represents society within the human psyche, then it becomes the instrument of appetite, desire and passion." (He might just as well have added laziness to that list.) Prudence is defined in the dictionary as, "the ability to govern and discipline oneself through reason". Do we see this today with rappers and rockers shouting out with unrestrained lust just what it is they want to do to their women–or any woman? Do any of the young Divas bumping and grinding their buttocks and salaciously touching their breasts and privates have any idea of what they are saying to young men driven sexually crazy by testosterone? The message is not treat me respectfully; it is, "do me now, whether I want it or not". What has all of the crotch grabbing by the music crowd got to do with young killers who enjoy discharging guns at human beings in drive-by shootings in America? Is there a world-wide link between penises and vaginas that imprudently do whatever they like, to foul mouths and hands defaming and beating others? What connection is there between sexual and other forms of appetitive overindulgence and violence? There seems to be a terrible inability of educators and politicians the world over to see any connection between aggressive and unrestrained sexuality and violence. "They do not know," as Aurelius says, "how to tell good from evil." There are those who will say that the suppression of sexuality in Moslem countries such as Afghanistan, Egypt, Libya and Saudi Arabia has resulted in the oppression of women and created tremendous pent-up frustration, but these same individuals will neglect to mention that masturbation and even bi-sexuality in these countries is also endemic and may itself contribute to the suppression of women. Any man who looks upon a woman as his bitch or thinks his genitals have parking rights with the loins of all women is not far from the paternalistic oppression noted in these Islamic countries, which has been rightfully criticized by the women's liberation movement. Has it ever occurred, however, to social critics that the ability to re-locate and root the sexual appetites in marriage (no matter what religion is professed) might serve the higher good of appetitive restraint and impulse management in general? "Oh no," we are told, "sex is good" and the more of it you can get without babies the better. Masturbation is always to be encouraged under the Rosseau "nature is good" system because whatever nature wants is good. What happens when nature wants something bad? What happens when you want a little bit of violence or murder with your sex, and what happens when the products of casual sex become inconvenient? I am reminded of the cartoon that shows a snake in the Garden of Eden tempting Eve: "Take it, it's organic." As a red-blooded American, I can't think of anything more agreeable from the perspective of raw desire than raping, pillaging and destroying but does that mean I should engage such impulses? What will prevent me from engaging such desires, unless I have a moral code that puts a leash on appetites knowing full well that many impulses born of nature are nowhere near what we might term "good"? By this I don't mean to suggest that masturbation or other forms of sexual relief might not be thought of as limited "goods" within the highly subjective sphere of individual sexuality, but it is important to relocate our sexual energy, so to speak, into a context where it might be more productive, and tend more towards the moral and even spiritual perfection of our humanity, rather than being simply a sexual relief valve. Marriage tends to integrate sexuality in a way that is biologically healthy and it certainly can provide some serious protection against disease. Additionally, marriage can function as a tremendous school for impulse management. A friend in California once told me that if you could perfect any relationship that enlightenment would soon follow. Perfecting the relationship with a spouse is a life-long task and that, along with the rearing of children, tends to integrate and domesticate sexuality. Men who are busy working, and raising and spending time with their families, generally speaking, have little time for mischief. -Sean O'Reily author of "How to Manage Your Dick" Another article by that guy: Testosterone: The Fuck it/kill it Biohazard Ancient Japanese treatment of women (Right click & Save Target) Gender Archetypes Now, here is a band that truly embodies cruelty to women.
