| | Avatar Episodes 3x14 - 3x21 | | | | Friday, March 21, 2008 (10:06 PM) | | Hey Everyone.
I wanted to write a blog about the last episodes of Avatar the last airbender. It's getting near the end, and it's going to be amazing. Now before I get started, here's the names of the episodes.
314: The Boiling Rock Part 1
315: The Boiling Rock Part 2
316: The Southern Raiders
317: The Ember Island Players
318: Sozins Comet Part 1
319: Sozins Comet Part 2
320: Sozins Comet Part 3
321: Sozins Comet Part 4
Yeah, only eight more episodes, until it's all over. And we can move on with our lives.
The day of black sun ... IT HAPPEND, IT'S OVER! No more solar eclipse! The group has no advantage against the fire lord, other than Aang will know all the elements. He's NOT a fully realized Avatar without the Avatar State, and I believe he'll get it back. It seemed like all of season 1 and 2 was about aang mastering all four elements. Until they found out about the solar eclipse. Then their whole plan was just thrown away. But in the western airtemple Sokka tells them that the old plan will be the new plan. So aang simply needs to learn firebending ... from ZUKO! *highfives zuko* Zuko made the ULTIMATE decision, he left his honor, his throne, his father and his girlfriend, all behind to fullfill his real destiny. Once aang has mastered all four elements, it'll be easy to defeat the firelord, right? Uh ... no, if you've noticed the final episodes are called "sozins comet" that means they're going to invade during or around the same time that the comet comes. The firebenders are going to have great power. They were planning on ENDING the war during the comet, what does the firenation have planned for that moment...? But Zuko and Aang will benefit from the comets powers. Toph and Katara ... won't benefit at all from the comet's energy. The firelord, and Azula are going to have extreme powers.
Now how is aang going to defeat an extra powerful firelord, and princess? I'll tell you ... he's going to get the avatar state back. And how is he going to do that ...? I'll tell you, it's by giving up what attaches him most to this world, and no that's not Appa, it's Katara. Aang loves Katara, we all know it. {I don't wanna get too deep into shipping yet} but Aang is not a fully realized avatar, he NEEDS the avatar state to defeat the firelord. And how do i know he's going to get back the avatar state.
This book comes out May 20th. Sorry I don't have more info on it.
Okay now for prediction, speculation and spoiler time.
Some of these are potential spoilers!!!
1. Aang dies ( heard from musicvidnut98)
Now I know what you're thinking 'you're crazy he's 12 and they wouldn't kill the main character!!!'. Well if you didn't know ... in the end of many anime shows, the main characters die. Think about it, it's the end of the show, Aang's destiny is complete, he has no reason to live. He's given up all earthly attachments. Now I am not saying that I want aang to die, I like aang. Although, he's not my favorite.
2. The Boiling Rock Is a Prison
It's pretty obvious that this is a REAL spoiler, because of the new Nick game "Boiling Rock Rescue." If you haven't played it, go play! It's pretty fun. You play only as Zuko, and you rescue prisoners, who look like the earthbenders from "Imprisoned".
3. Yue's Moonpowers
This is a PREDICTION, of my own. The firebenders get their power from the sun, or comets. And the waterbenders get their power from the moon. In "The Awakening" we see Aang helpless in the ocean. Yue's spirit, moon spirit, comes and gives him words of encouragement. We then see Yue giving Aang power, perhaps moon power? Yue is the moon spirit, she does have moon powers. "Don't make me use my moon powers on you!" During the final battle the firebenders will get their power from the comet, and where will the waterbenders get their power? YUE! She's going to help stop this war, she's not just gone, she became a moon spirit, and it was her destiny. "Goodbye Sokka, I'll always be with you." Yue still deeply cares for Sokka, and she'll help him win the war.
4. Suki, dead or alive?
I really have no idea if Suki is dead or not. But if i had to guess, I think she's at "the boiling rock". It's a prison, and a big one at that. (if you've played the game) Suki and Sokka love eachother, and Sokka will do anything to protect someone he cares about. He's not going to let her slip away, like Yue did.
5. Killer of Katara's Mother
Some people have predicted that "the southern raiders" is about the peron/group of people that invaded the southern watertribe, and raided the village. Possibly the person/group that killed Katara's mother. And yes it is confirmed that their mom is dead, Sokka said. "When our mom died, that was the hardest time of my life."
6. Mystery Man
I have no idea who this guy is ... and I have no guesses. Pic from my avatar magazine.
7. ZUTARA
Yes, in the end, it's going to be Zutara. Aang is the Avatar, his destiny is to end the war. Zuko needs someone that can understand him, show him passion, and make him whole. Mai does not do that for him, and she never will. Maiko is over, it's not returning. Although, we do know that they reunited at some point thanks to think picture.
In this picture we can see that they won't have a heart felt reunion ... that'll be interesting.And I am guessing this is from "the boiling rock" due to the cell.
Zuko and Katara have always had an interesting history ...
And we all know that whole thing about Katara ending up with either Zuko or Aang, and with Aang gone that leaves Zuko. And all the Zutara foreshadowing, it's all there. And when i does happen, its going to be amazing.
8. The Ember Island Players
This episode is probably going to be about Azula, Ty Lee, and Mai. Because by the 'ember island players' they probably mean, those two boys, the one was interested in Azula, and the other one liked Mai. Here are some pics that I think could be connected to the episode.
Thats all my predictions, speculations, and possibly spoilers.
