I went to this convenience store (which was few blocks away from my rented room) to buy something to eat after waking up with an angry stomach from a pitiful day sleep after a grueling graveyard duty at work ( patients not sleeping, running here and there, shouting, asking for a fight-to which I managed mostly because I was the only male psychiatric nurse on duty)...
Going inside the store, I saw this black man (I think an expatriate from Africa) standing by the counter with his chosen goodies to pay, and this guy behind the counter I saw was on the phone talking to whomever in Arabic and thought "why he is keeping this customer waiting?"..'Oh maybe the call is an important one for him..hmmm..."
So I went in and after some turns here and there on the shelves, got what I wanted and heads to the counter myself..
and to my surprise, the waiting customer is still waiting for this guy behind the counter (who is the manager by the way, he owns the store) to put down the godamn phone and attend to him..I was about to open my mouth in disgust when a youngish man (maybe in his late teens or early 20's) came in and said something to this storekeeper in Arabic which I cannot fully understand (but I think he wants a phonecard for his mobile phone)..and to my amazement (black man included) he (guy behind the counter) said to whomever he was talking to on the phone in arabic "Yalla, masallam" (I have to go, bye bye) and put down the phone and attended to this newbie in a flash  like he was Elvis or someone who needs to be treated like a star...
Then I heard the poor black guy said: "Hey, whats wrong with you?"
"Ah, you must wait, he is a Local...Mushkilla, mushkilla (problem,problem)"..the storekeeper replied..
I was like: "what?' "oh, locals (those who are naturals of this country I am in) should be treated like kings, ey?"
..and we (expatriates) must wait huh?Is that it?...WTF?
then this young guy left with the thing he needed and saw the biggest grin a person could have on his face in my whole freakin' life..
then my head feels like it will explode and went spinning...
the next thing I fully remembered was I was back in my room eating the food I bought...
So..

I was surfing channels and watching other peoples vids when I noticed how many videos I had now...128! WOW!...really?!...I was not counting!...I had made that much now since I joined LV?...ah..that means thats how I love this site...I may have made and made and made because I enjoyed it that much!...BUT..as I was surfing along, I noticed the dwindling on viewership here in LV..where have all the people gone?...I remember the first few months I was here..man, the community was really UP and ABOUT...and it was FUN..still is but not as much as we had back then...but as long as LV ROCKS, I will be here to make more vids (hopefully) and watch more vids from you...as always, ROCK ON People!
