| | Child Abuse? You decide... | | | Saturday, October 11, 2008 (4:54 PM) (I'm feeling frustrated) | | Hello everyone,
In the following video an 8 year old little girl pawns Bill O'Reilly in an internet video clip. While incendiary in her comments and as inappropriate the words are for her age, I must say that I as an adult agree with her stated possition. I am even working on a new video game that I am trying to sell to EA Games in which the player hunts down the main-stream media hacks with a high power rifle (reminicent of GTA4) and thus cleanses the world of their evil influence. Of course this takes place in a fictitios world where the main-stream media is out of control and hurting the liberty and decisiveness of the American people. I am sure that our current main-stream media will see this game as the satire that it is obviously intended to be.
So naturally O'Reilly not wanting to be bested by an 8 year old girl, "straight-fires" back at her and her family. Even going so far as to say that if her parents would abuse her in this way, they are probably abusing her in other ways also and that the state should remove this child from her lawful parents custody.
Now while he had the subject open, he failed to address other cases of similar abuse such as the following internet video clip of a very young boy, being made to perform. as a street preacher. Should the state remove this child from his misguided parent's custody?
I do believe that Hannity once addressed this woman's church and it's views and he stated, what he thinks of the abuse it is on the kids. But I am unaware of O'Reilly addressing this abuse while he had the topic open. I wonder if he thinks the Phelps' are abusing their children in other ways also.
Warning: The following video is long and very hard to watch. It is a prime example of parents and leaders manipulating their children's world view.
In conclusion I would like to say that all these children are being abused and manipulated to some degree, the first no more so than the last, but I see O'Reilly as being very biased in his coverage of this issue. Fair and unbiased cannot just be a catchphrase, it needs to mean something more. How is it more wrong for the parents of the girl in the first video to be manipulating their child, than it is for the parents in the last video? Because she is cursing? Fuck that, that is a cop-out and you and I both know it. Children should never be taught or manipulated or otherwise coerrsed into saying things they don't understand. But for O'Reilly to say that the government should remove that child from her home is irresponsible and callus, especially if he is not willing to address the bigger issue of the brainwashing being done by Christian and other religious families.
Please share this blog with your friends. I finally agree with Bill O'Reilly. I think that we should let our children be children and not fill their heads with religious or anti-religious crap. Most well meaning parents. would not try to put such extreme views in their childrens heads, at an age when those same children still believe in Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy.
Have a great weekend everyone,
doc
Note: I will say that the little girl in the first video, although misdirected, was more clear on her subject than O'Reilly ever is, and that her parents did a superb editing job for amatures. But they did manipulate the kid. Let's be honest here. | | | 112 Views | 10 Thumbs Up | 6 Comments

| | Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 9:55 PM | | welcome to my show. but never forget that the door swings both ways. if you don't like what you see here, then please find another place to go. the internet is full of places to go. rule 1 - it's my show, so i make the rules.. rule 2 - if you are somehow offended because i got some rules up in here, then get out now. we will not get along believe me. rule 3 - you must have a sense of humour. if you don't this place will drive you crazy and you won't enjoy yourself. if you don't have a sense of humour more...then please go to another place on the web. may i suggest the GOP headquarters..
rule 4 - be nice to each other. it is unfair for anyone to put me in the position of having to break up their fight or to kick out or ban one or more of the parties fighting. you wanna fight go to your own sandbox..
rule 5 - everyone gets modded. no exceptions so don't even ask. you don't have to do anything as a moderator here. but you will be modded.
rule 6 - if i ban you then you will prolly never get back in here to chat. the only exception would be if i accidentally clicked you when trying to ban someone else..
rule 7 - no vulgarity or shit like that. there may be kids watching for one, and more importantly i don't wanna fucking read or hear it. playful suggestive talking is ok i suppose, like flirting, thats what i sometimes do, but i'll throw a fucker out of this place if they go all porno in here..
rule 8 - no spelling nazis allowed. if you can't handle the idea that maybe not everyone is as smart as you or as skilled at typing as you, then get the fuck out of here you intellectual snob. ain't no one here smarter than me and i don't talk down to any of ya. so if you can understand it then let it go, and concentrate on the point being made instead of the sentence it's in..
rule 9 - this is not a free speech zone. the first amendment does not apply here. you will prolly get to say most anything you care to here. but you WILL be out if i catch you making racial slurs or hateful statements about anyone's sexual orientation. you likely will not even get a warning. and just so you know, i don't dig race jokes or gay jokes. they are not funny and they are a sign of low breeding and/or poor upbringing..
rule 10 - don't fucking cry about all the rules. it is my house, if you don't care for the rules just leave. there is no chain on your leg. please don't trip on your way out. less
| Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 9:48 PM | | For those who have a problem with conspiracy theories, I would first suggest that you familiarize yourself with what the term actually means. The definition of a conspiracy: 1. An agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act. 2. An agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime or accomplish a legal purpose through illegal action. 3. A joining or acting together, as if by sinister design: a conspiracy of wind and tide that devastated coastal areas. The definition of more...a theory: 1. Abstract reasoning; speculation. 2. A belief or principle that guides action or assists comprehension or judgment: staked out the house on the theory that criminals usually return to the scene of the crime. 3. An assumption based on limited information or knowledge; a conjecture.
Therefore, a conspiracy theory could be described as; A theory seeking to explain a disputed case or matter as a plot by a secret group or alliance rather than an individual or isolated act.
