I haven't blogged for a while, so here is a short update!
Finally, I finished my report last week. Now I wait for the last remarks and the last commets but then I'm done with the shity thing. You see during my last weeks I spend most of my time in front of my computer tipping the report. Ther was not much time to do anything else.
And after I submitted the report to my supervisor it was like I fell into a deep hole cause I had to much time now and no idea wath to do. lol Really strange!!
Last friday was the saying goodbye party of my old flate mates. A great evening, they invited all friends from the neighboorhood for a barbecue. I think it was 2 when I went to bed. This barbecue was a great way to get to know a few neighboors. By know I still don't know anybody here apart from them. I really need to change that!!
Yeah, these are the biggest news for now.

(I'm feeling okay) | | ... 4hr sleep this night - so I'm still tired .
Okay, last night - i worked on my results till 2:30a.m. and finished the presentation for today.
11:30 pm - my computer broke down without any reason - okay maybe to much windows open ( 5 Exel sheet, 2 Origin projects and PowerPoint) lol
- I think it was a sign that i should make a break
12pm - back to work. Refreshed the computer and recovered the presentation.
1am - Black tea to stay awake
2am - Finally I printed the presentation
2:10 am - stored the results and did a backup on an external hard drive
2:30am - Shut down the computer but couldn't sleep t
6:30am - got up, a double Espresso for breakfast
10:am - Meeting time
The meeting was quite good - results are OK, so I don't have to do the anaylsis again. So I can start writting the last part of the report. But first I need to get some sleep.

(I'm feeling busy) | | ... these days when 24hr per day are not enough.
Currently, I think about to announce the Centauri time - 37hr a day. U've got to choose - get use top it or get crazy (ManInBlack ). Looniness for me please LOL.
I've got a meeting with my Prof. in around 10hr about my research project and still alot work which need to be done. As if that's not enough I had to go to work today - uff. So I worked yesterday till 2am and I think it will be a very short night today as well.
So, I should go back to my data to make them look nice .

(I'm feeling busy) | | ... was a weired mixture of stress and boredom.
Most of my time I was in the liberary to write a student research project which i have to pass in at the end of the month.
But on the otehr hand it was hard to get out of bed cause i was feeling really bad - i had stomach ache, haedache, ... .
I would say it was the worst time to get ill - but anyway I wrote a few pages and analysed the research data, cause i had a meeeting with my supervisor on Wednsday.
Wednsday - meeting time. I worked till 1:30 am to get the important things done. In the morning I had to drive back to Freiberg to talk to my supervisor about the results and everything. I spend the all day in Freiberg, meeting my friends for dinner, ... . I had a great dinner in with a good friend. She just came back from the UK where she stayed for half a year. She told me how weired it was when she came back and everybody speaks the "wrong" language. It was really funny cause I can remenber how I felt when I came back from the UK a year ago and I had to switch back to german - I think it took my like 2-3 week. But I also reminds me on a really good time and made me longing of the faraway.
Ok, stop - I start to loose the point.
For the rest of the week I moved on with the research project and went to work on Thursday.
Ooohh - I almost forgot to tell u that I choose a new flatmate. Cause my old flatemates ( a couple) are going to move out at the end of april we were looking for a next tenant. For the last two week or something people came to have a look at the flat . It was not easy to find somebody. There were People who liked to move in but I didn't want to life with. And on the other hand there where People who I liked but they didn't like the flat or they couldn't afford the rent. On Tuesday a nice guy came to have a look at the flat and we get along with eachother straightaway - finally I found my new flatmate.
Yeah, that's what was going on last week.

| | Work | | | | Thursday, April 3, 2008 (1:22 PM) | | I've been at work today. It's damn cool just 10 min by car from my new flat. Before i moved to Dresden it was about 1h to get there which means i had to get up at 5:30am - BAD time!
Today was a good day at work - not much to do. I had to make a few microscopy images and that's almost everything - really cool.
In the afternoon i talked to my supervisior to get a new duty instead he gave me folder full of papers and said: "You going to start ur diploma soon?! You can search for papers relate to ur topic." - Great - so i surfed the inet to "search" for paper and stuff like that!!

I painted my old room at uni on saturday and cleared it out on sunday.
I had to hand in my keys monday morning so i stayed over night in my old room and slept in a sleeping bag, not really comfortable.
And today I've been to the residents registration office to change the address in my ID card - it took my 5 min to change it and I got a nice Welcome bag with a lot of leaflets and vouchers.
At the moment, I work on a huge project for studies. I need to finish it as soon as possible to have a few day off befor I start my diploma in may.
u see nothing special in my life at the moment

(I'm feeling sad) | | I hab my Saying Goodbye Party this evening! A very sad evening.
I'll miss the guys - I know them for almost 5 years. I'm a bit depressed right now. My time in Freiberg - at my University - was gone so fast. A really god friend of mine is going to move to the other side of germany which means I wont see him for a long time. The others stay in Freiberg or moving to other places in germany, europe or wherever for their diploma.
It's hard to say goodbye!!

| | Am I addicted?! | | | | Saturday, March 22, 2008 (4:20 AM) | | Since I signed up for LiveVideo (3weeks ago) I think I get really addicted to it.
At the beginning I was really confused about LV - I never saw a page like this. VBlogging - a completely new experience for me - I knew Web Blogs, but Video Blogs. I think I'll do a VBlog soon - should I , it would be my first VBlog ever?
I got used to LiveVideo quie fast. Signed up end of Feb., did my fist WebBlog i guess 2 days later and used my cam for the first time a week after i joined LV. And now the first thing in the morning when i wake up I turn on my computer and check LV if i got any new massages, comments, friend request ... (by the way go add me to ur freinds - I'm a really nice person )
Yesterday, because it was Good Friday I was logged all day - pimped my profil a bit, joined a few chats, watched vid etc. and the next time I checked the time it was almost midnight . I can't believe it.
Did this ever append to u using LV?

I tired to surf the net - battery was 50% and the book shut down and didn't started again without the plug. I charged the battery and used it again - book shut down aftter 10 min. *grrr*
So I surfed a few forums - the people there gave me the advice to try a hardware test. Okay - so i did a hardware test. Result the RAM is broken - FAB. A service provider installed the RAM 3 month ago because I want be sure everything is fine with it.
Today, I went to the service provider again - it took me 3hr so. First, I told the guy that apple is replacing batteries if the health is less than 80% at 300 cycles - my had 59 cycles with a health of 22%. Second, to make clear that the RAM they installed is broken. The guy had no clue about a mac *grrrr* - so i did the hardware test again and again and again untill he got it.
