(I'm feeling impressed) | | So, this is Allen blogging, which I don't do very often, infact I don't make videos either or contribute to this website much, which frustrates me because I feel like im somebody on youtube, here for the content and entertainment. It's a dirty feeling because I sometimes get the impression that im a customer, even though I've spent fuck all.
Why come on here if i'm not going to contribute? It's a community website (or so I thought it was...but thats a different issue relating to the liveshows AKA pornshows) and should have a stronger community, I should put myself forward - infact I should put The Turkletons forward into this place and make some friends. Now it's alot harder for me due to my circumstances which i'd rather not go into just now.
I see we have quite a few "friends" on here, but we don't know any of them...there is one great guy, Oct, who i've spoke to in the liverooms with Lisa, that was a fucking blast. Oct is an awesome guy, if ever he's in some sort of vlog war, i'll always input a comment for him of full support, he's one of the good guys, i wanna meet more people like him and experience this great place. I've been in a liveroom with MMM and The Madhatter, they seem really cool and i watch all of their vids every chance I get. I spend hours on here watching mostly vlog wars and people's lives. I don't wanna just be a subscriber though, I wanna get involved in some way...it's hard though, i'll get to that one day.
Lisa and I, for the record, aren't a "band" we just play music together for fun and for others to enjoy, I doubt that we'd ever make money off of it, so we're not gonna promote our "album" or anything, we're here for the community, to have a bit of fun with folk, unfortunately we just havent contributed yet, but that's going to change...I hope. One thing I don't want to be involved in is drama...but if it rears its ugly head, then i'll come in swinging and out winning.
Anyway, i'll post a bulletin about this blog and watch some wrestling.

(I'm feeling bouncy) | | Since my dear fiance did a blog about this and it led to me coming up with arguments of my own, I decided to put my little points out there as well.
YouTube
YouTube is real easy to see updates of your sibscriptions and stuff, yes. I agree with the points Allen made. Has pretty much everything, and as a video uploading site it's brilliant. Tuturials, music, everything you need is right there. If you want to WATCH, youtube is the ultimate place. I dont like the comment system and other things that would be needed to make it a better community.
LiveVideo
I love the new Live stuff, absolutely brilliant. Brings you in immediate contact with the users you've been watching for ages. Also, LiveVideo is of course a smaller place. I thought that would mean less views and stuff, but I forgot to concider the competition for attention is also considerably smaller. No, no vids have like 5 million views. But on the other hand you dont have to do something sensational to reach a hundred. In fact anyone who sets their mind to it, uploads vids and talks to people can become pretty well known on LV, while on YouTube it's nearly impossible. If you want to BE SEEN and be welcomed into a COMMUNITY, LiveVideo is the place. It can do alot to improve and make it easier to move around, but it's already a better working community than the tubes.
Overall
Right now I spend more time on LV, but I'm gonna keep being on both. Since they're so different I need both of them to satisfy different needs. LiveVideo is improving rapidly, and I've really enjoyed being here so far. Right now, LV wins for me. Cheers.

LiveVideo is great, it has the community aspect of it, alot of "real" people are on here, not alot of silly Americans. I haven't really explored this place alot, but from what I see, it's great, I can't really do a typically long ass blog about it because I'm not used to it...It's very hard to get around and I can't really focus on one subject because theres so much going on. There's waaay too many vlog wars and fights between old men and fucked up old women...but hey that's entertainment. Too many people are getting featured, I don't like that because there aren't any "celebrities" on here, I like to have one person that I can watch allll the time, like a TV...unfortunately on here it's impossible.
Youtube
I love Youtube...it is SO easy to get around, I can't really see it dying out, theres lots of videos, tons of blogs, but I can keep track of them, the subscriptions panel is great, right on the homepage where I can see who's updated the moment I get on there, so quick, so simple. As much as there is drama on there, it's quite easy to stay away from it, as some users have seperate accounts to deal with that. I love the celebrity aspect because, like I said before, its like watching TV annnd you learn something new everyday, unfortunately, theres no stickam feature which has just arrived her on LV, which is a bit of a drawback, but if you JUST want to watch your favourite music video, or watch some tutorials...pretty much anything except porn, then Youtube has got it. It doesn't really have a good community feature like LV, but I don't think it honestly needs it, it's a video uploading website.
Overall
Youtube wins HANDS DOWN. I hope my opinion changes in the future because LiveVideo has a shitload of potential to be an up and coming site, right now there's too many glitches and drawbacks, doesn't appeal to everyone, and it's pretty difficult to find your way around. I'll stick with both obviously, but I prefer Youtube by a mile. Thanks for reading.
