(I'm feeling tired) | | | Well I crashed today between 50-60 mph. Front end of the bike is totally fucked. I pulled it off, looks nice as a streetfighter, bent the right side rear set downward just a lil, and that is the only damage to the bike that isn't cosmetic that wasn't the front end. (I'm feeling tired) | | | Yeah so I ordered a new rear tire, my Pirelli Diablo Rosso, has finally had it at a lil over 5000 miles. I also gutted my cat today, so combined with my intake stacks and S/O exhaust, it's time for a power commander cuz the bike would be running too lean with those 3 combinations. And got a new BMC air filter also on order. I'll be getting all this while i'm gone but it's ok, cuz i'll be back in 2 weeks and get all this installed. Oh and for those wondering why a BMC over a K&N, on the FZ1 forum i'm part of, everyone on there has said K&N filters for 06+ FZ1's do not mate correctly with the airbox in terms of sealing right. One is about how you can't live for more than 60 days away from the house once purchased if your on the loan, and 2 my wife's credit history is only listed with 1 credit bureau and not all 3, but experian has her listed as excellant credit score and history of 4 years, and her score is over 700, ain't that some shit. I'll say this things between us and the Iranians is going to get outta control one day, i thought they were going to get outta control last night on the way here. I got 55 more days then i'm comming home, i may do recruiting duty also since the economy is not doing well, i can't afford to give up 40k a year job even know i want to get out. (I'm feeling sore) | | | So today I went to the gym here in Sasebo Japan since this is where we are doing a port call. And one guy in my command is a MMA fighter, and said he'll teach us some basics on MMA fighting when it comes to submissions, and ground fighting, cuz as he says "100% of the fights start standing and 80% end up on the ground" Well that was the most intense workout i've ever done in my life, way more intense than any weight lifting or cardio i've ever done, and i've done some crazy workouts in the past. But it was awesome to be able to start to learn about that type of fighting. It is very complex, but easy to lose or win at the same time. I had to tap out at least 15 times today, but i made others tap out. Found out that in full guard i'm not bad at putting someone in a triangle since my legs are kinda short it's harder for me to put someone in a arm bar. But as with the type of sport it is, do not expect not to get injured, my entire front of my body is all bruises and scrached up from today, but i think it was well worth it. (I'm feeling angry) | | | Well folks it's the 22nd of July where i'm at. Cruise is a 3rd of the way done already, and i'm damn glad that it is cuz it's driving me up the wall with all the bullshit i have to deal with. Since i can't post a VLOG i figured i'd do a blog, forgot i had this option on here. But i turned 24 in Korea, and on my b-day i didn't even leave the ship i just stay on play ps2 and then went to sleep. Not like i could of enjoyed my b-day like i wanted to anyway, too many restrictions imposed on us when we are in port now, i might as well be in elementary school that's how bad it is. But anyway i'm just venting, the past 72 hours has been the worst time of my life ever. I'm very very happy i only have 9 months left, but i'm being back'd into a corner with all this bullshit, and that's not good, cuz eventually i will start fighting back. I've done the suck it up deal as much as i can take and i can't do that anymore. (I'm feeling hungry) | | | Yeah I'm thinking about joining the Rolling Thunder association when I get out of the Navy. For those who don't know what that is, they do the Ride in Washington D.C. every year for Memorial Day, and they fight for better treatment of Veterans, and what Veterans are entiled to. Such as the Veterans Administration, health care, homes for retired Vets, Disabled Vets, and so on. I personally think it's a very good thing, because I no that Veterans in this country do not have the best health care, or retirement places. There are many things that we as a country need to improve on. I do not think that Veterans are being taken care of once they are out of the military, or even if we are active duty, Reserve, National Guard, ect. I think it is the least the Nation can do for these people is provide them with the Best Health Care, The best in Retirement, provide a place for homeless Vets to live because there are many and I mean many homeless Veterans in our Country recieving no, or very very little help. I think if you do time in the US military regardless of Branch of Service then the Country should provide these services to us. It is a very at the very least of what I think should be done. Just remember that everything we have here, our lifestyle has been fought for and paid in Blood, and Lives lost.
