(I'm feeling Does having Insomnia count?) | | Bill Maher tells it like it is and satires George W. Bush too... DOUBLE PWNING!!! My take on the whole Evolution VS Creationism subject is this: WHO FUCKING CARES?!!! Where the earth came from is not my problem, concern or interest. Where did I come from? I KNOW THAT! I was first in my fathers balls then one day/night when my mother and father had unprotected sex, I was one of the millions of sperm that was injected into my mothers womb. I was *obviously* the fastest/strongest and because I was also fertile - AFTER *about* 9 MONTHS: I WAS BORN!!! In knowing this much: I know HOW I was created, WHO created ME and WHERE I came from already. I am an Atheist who adknowledges Evolution yet, just doesn't give a shit. How was the Earth made so long ago? How old is my home planet? I just don't see the point in researching it so heatedly. I mean, why not research a total cure for every Mental Illness instead? THAT WOULD HELP MORE THAN 2 SIDES SAYING "NOOOO! I = right, you is WRONG!1!11!" FOR HOURS/YEARS ON END! In the defense of my own personal belif however, it's been proven that Evolution DOES EXIST and it's NOT "just a theory" as BUSH would have you believe. Humans, plants and Animals adapt to different climates/conditions. Without any room for an evolutionary step foward, I believe most things/people would not live through the Winter Months or survive the common Flu. Evolution has been observed countless times throughout history yet, the proof of any/all God/Gods is that people can't explain certain happenings or believe in a "higher power" than themselves. Either way, you have your beliefs and I have mine. I could be wrong or you could be but, we won't find out by yelling at eachother. Best thing to do as I see is TRY to live peacefully, meaningfully and wait it out. If one day Jesus Christ comes to me and says "It's me, kneel or go to Hell" then - COOL! I now have personal proof *at least* that he exists. If not... whatever and still cool. No "I told you so" shit on that because I could THINK I was right but then 5 minutes later be WRONG. Anyways, thats about it for me on this Blog Post people. COMMENT ON YOUR THOUGHTS.
