Yes, the rumors are true: the band known as Daylight Division is no more. The truth of the matter is that there was just not the right chemistry within the band. But please don’t take this as sad news, because it is actually great news. Because I have been so busy working on other projects and have been stretched really thin, this frees me to work on my solo record and continue to bring my music to all of you (who are so wonderful to want it).

Hello All,
A few weeks ago, our rescue saved a 6 month old blue nose pittie puppy from euthanasia literally 15 minutes before he was to die!
Another rescue was supposed to take him and backed out after he had been pulled from the shelter. Because it was an emergency situation, we agreed to take him.
Unfortunately, we were not made aware of his medical condition prior to this... and turns out he has Mange. Which for many of you who do not know what it is, it is highly contagious. Since we have other animals, he was not able to actually come to our place and we certainly were not about to return him to the shelter where he was scheduled to die only 15 minutes later!!!
That being said, poor johnny has been stuck in boarding at the vetrinarians office which is costing us hundreds of dollars for a rescue that was never actually ours.
I never ask for help unless we actually need it, and we really really do.The rescue that bailed him is not contributing financially to his care AT ALL, and the bill gets higher each day that he is there. It is currently over 400 but by this time next week when his mange is finally gone, it will have doubled.
Please share this with your friends, spread the word and help us help johnny get healthy and into a loving home instead of in a cold isolation room at the vets.

Hey everyone.
I'm writing this on behalf of Johnny, the adorable little puppy with Mange rescued from east valley whom you all might recall.....He was the lone survivor on a day when a HOARD of dogs was put down there. I have never cried so hard about a euth, as that one was HUGE. this was on Halloween.
*Rockstar Rescue*, an amazing group I cherish was kind enough to open their hearts to the the beloved Johnny. Unfortunately, Johnny has to go into boarding while he was being treated for Mange as RR has a ton of other animals ( they are quite amazing) and that all got very expensive very fast...
right now I believe we're looking in the ballpark of $300-$400 dollars for his bills!!!! This was NOT expected.
Can ANYONE help with ANYTHING? no matter how small, even $5, or $10, or heck even $7!!! anything...Kendra of RR was the one kind enough to step up and take this mangey little man when noone else would...so the least we could do is send a little money to support his treatment....It's b/c of this animal angel that he is even alive.... SO PLEASE, PLEASE , anything...and if you absolutely CANT, forward it on to someone who can.
It would really mean a lot to the, but mostly to Johnny.....<3

| | Album Artwork Contest - The Unreleased Demos | | | | Saturday, November 14, 2009 (12:13 PM) | | Lukas Rossi is announcing a new contest for his fans! Lukas' newest music "The Unreleased Demos" needs an album cover, and he'd love the fans to assist in creating the official Lukas Rossi artwork.

The contest guidelines are as follows:
- Album art must be original creative content. You may use your own photos or anything else artistic that you've created.
- Artwork should be in one of the following file formats: JPG, GIF or PNG.
- The image must be a perfect square and at least 1600 x 1600
- Artwork must have a minimum resolution of 72 dpi, preferably higher.
- Images cannot contain your name, email address, URLs, logos, trademarks, or any other images unless you own them
- Lukas Rossi is not responsible for the unauthorized use of images of a third party, or any infringement upon the work of another party.
- The Album artwork must contain the words "The Unreleased Demos" and "Lukas Rossi"
- The artwork will be viewed as a small 'thumbnail' on websites, so the words and images must be legible at a small size and not blurry
- The artwork should be in sync with Lukas Rossi's image and music
- Each contest participant can only submit one item for contest consideration
- All submitted artwork for the contest will become the property of Lukas Rossi, and may be used by Lukas Rossi for future promotion
As the contest winner, your name will be announced in the official Team Rossi bulletin. | | In Canada | | | | Monday, September 21, 2009 (3:38 PM) | | Played Sudbury and it was fucking stellar once again...packed house. Reminds me that Canada is the place to be...kinda sucks I can't be home more often and that Kendra couldn't be here. Zann came by and it was awesome to see her...she helped me out so much that evening. The crowd was wild singing all the songs, dancing...good ole Canadian love.
Some great things are happening right now with Daylight Division...i'm going to try and make sure that the first tour starts in Canada....we should be going in very soon to record the rest of the Daylight Division album. Personally my favourite songs on the album will be recorded next.
I did a photo shoot today for uncharted sounds and brought my delicious friend Jake Surette as my stylist because he is the shit!!!!...check him out at studiobyjake.com

| | "Fly" Video Contest Important Update | | | | Sunday, August 9, 2009 (9:26 PM) | | Video Contest Announcement!
The "Fly" Video Contest will be extended for another month to end at midnight on Sunday September 6th. It has come to our awareness that the summer timeframe has impacted the number of videos submitted due to holidays/vacations, etc.
Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to get your videos in for the previous deadline and we apologize for any inconvenience. To keep the contest fair for the current video submissions, the following additional guidelines will be put in place:
1. Participants will be given the opportunity enhance their videos and resubmit into the contest.
2. The decision to enhance or re-work a video is entirely at the discretion of the participant.
3. The existing videos can be re-worked, but please do not submit an entirely new video. The concept of the original video should remain the same.
4. If an enhanced video is received, it will be set up on the Lukas Rossi YouTube site as a new video.
5. Original videos will be kept on the Lukas Rossi YouTube site and set as private with comments disabled. This will maintain the current video view counts and comments.

I encourage everyone to submit a video for this contest. It's a great honor to know that this is in memory of Lukas' friend Ron Weiss, and will be shared with Ron's family.
