Spoken to the subject
For the moment, rest your arms limply on your thighs, just like this (demonstrate position to subject). Now I want you to look out here at my hand. In a moment I'm going to bring my hand up in front of your eyes like this. (Demonstrate bringing index and middle finger of right hand, in a pointing V position, to a position just above their eyebrows) When I do, I'll pass my hand down in front of your eye. Keep your eyes fixed on my fingers. As I pass my hand down, let your eyelids close down. (Bring hand straight down, one finger moving down over each eye)
(Move fingers to a pointing V position just above eyebrows so they have to look up at an angle to see fingertips) All right, now fix your eyes on my fingers. Now I'm passing my hand down in front of your eyes, and as I do, let your eyelids close down. (Move hand straight down, one finger moving down over each eye)
Now your eyelids are closed down. I want you to relax every tiny muscle and nerve in and around your eyelids. I want you to relax them so much that they wouldn't work even if you wanted them to.
Now, when you know that you've relaxed them that much that they wouldn't work even if you wanted them to, test them; you'll see you've been completely successful. Now, relax them so much that they wouldn't work even if you wanted them to. Now test them; you'll see you've been completely successful. (If they open their eyes, tell them to relax them again, this time more completely and test again. If they don't open their eyes, pause three seconds and continue)
All right, that's fine. Now, stop trying and just relax and go deeper now. Now I'm going to raise your hand. I will do it by grasping your right thumb in my fingers like this. (Grasp thumb between thumb and index finger -- make sure you grasp the correct thumb) As I lift your hand, just let it hang limply in my fingers (Optional: slightly rock arm back and forth) Then, when I drop it, let it drop like a wet, limp rag. When you hand touches your body, as it drops, send a wave or relaxation from the top of your head all the way down to the tips of your toes. That will double your present level of relaxation.
(Lift hand, optionally rocking it) Now, I'm raising your hand. That's it, let it hang limply. That's good. Now, when I drop it, let it drop like a limp, wet rag, and as it touches your body, send a wave of relaxation from the top of your head to the tip of your toes. (Drop hand) That's good.
Now, we'll do that again with the left hand. Now I'm going to pick up your left hand, and as I take your thumb, just let it hang limply. (Optional: slightly rock arm back and forth) That's good; now you're getting the idea. When I drop it, let it drop like a wet, limp rag. When it touches your body, send another wave or relaxation from the top of your head to the tips of your toes and double your present level of relaxation. (Drop hand) That's good.
Now, your body is relaxed and I'm going to show you how to relax your mind. Listen very carefully. The next time I touch your forehead, I want you to begin counting from one hundred backward in this way: One hundred, deeper asleep. Ninety-nine, deeper asleep. Ninety-eight, deeper asleep, and so on. After counting just a few numbers, by the time you reach ninety-seven, or ninety-six, or maybe, at the most, ninety-five, you will find those numbers disappearing. You will find your mind has become so relaxed that you'll just relax them out of your mind.
All right, get ready now, three, two, one. (Tap subject on forehead) Begin counting. (Listen to them count down. Based upon the rate of speed, you may say the following statement) Good, slow them down now. (After each count, say one of the following) good/fine. (After the count of ninety-seven say) Start relaxing them out of your mind. (After several more counts, based on how the subject is performing, say) Let them relax out of your mind right now. (After another count) Let them fade away completely.
(After subject has stopped counting, continue with) That's fine, You've relaxed your body; you've relaxed your mind; you've gone into a much deeper state of hypnosis.

Hypnosis - 12 Practical Tips To Make Hypnotic Inductions Successful
The first time...
I have trained people in my workshops with practical demonstrations
on how to induce hypnosis successfully, and during the course of my
24 years of experience practicing hypnosis, I have come across countless
people asking for tips for hypnotic inductions, since some of them have
failed in one way or the other in Inducing Hypnosis successfully.
The problems that most hypnotists face while inducing
hypnosis and the advise that I have given to them is
provided here so that this article will form as basis for the
newbie hypnotists to practice, learn and implement how to induce
hypnosis successfully the first time and every time.
The understanding between the hypnotist and the subject is very
crucial. To establish this compatibility, the hypnotists must
spell out exactly what he is going to do with the subject as well
as what is expected from the subject. The rapport further can be
established with these points:
A.) The hypnotist must also dispel all misconceptions that there
will not be any unconsciousness, the subject can wake up easily,
and that he will keep the session confidential.
B.) The hypnotist should advise the subject to concentrate on the
suggestion given to them.
C.) The hypnotist should also stress that the subject's wishes will be followed
in formulating suggestions.
What I have also found in most hypnotists, is a lack of confidence in
their ability to induce hypnosis, this reflects dramatically in the
subjects mind simply because the subject picks up on this insecurity
and hesitancy of the hypnotist with the suggestions. Therefore, it
is very imperative that the hypnotist believes in himself and
approaches the session with a positive attitude expecting a successful
induction and session.
The suggestions are meant to be based on basic common sense and
logic, avoiding deception. This is where the difference between
guiding and fooling the subject lies.
Now I am going to reveal the 10 most useful, practical and important
tips to achieve a successful hypnotic induction:
1.) First and foremost, there is no such thing as a good subject or
bad subject (people being hypnotized). Hypnotizibility depends on
the fear the subject has. If there is no fear in the mind of the
subject, a deep stage of hypnosis is possible. It is always better to
remove their fears before beginning the induction process.
2.) When you start hypnotizing somebody, do it with suggestibility
tests like "hand clasp test, falling backward, falling forward, arm
catalepsy test,". These tests are very easy to use. The success in
these simple tests will create a belief in you and your subject that
you will do better in advanced techniques.
3.) The subject receives and follows the suggestions when they are
completely comfortable during the induction process. They could lose
focus and interrupt the induction process if they feel the slightest
discomfort or inconvenience. These interruptions become obstacles
leading to an inevitable failure. Therefore their location and
position should be comfortable. Unavoidable external sounds or
distractions can be used as reinforcement in the induction.
4.)Remarks such as this are also very helpful "If you follow my
simple XYZ suggestions, such as looking at a place where I point,
or closing your eyes, counting to yourself, imagining or picturing, thinking,
feeling, that your legs are getting heavier and heavier, you
will follow other more complex suggestions.
5.) One more technique that I found very effective is:
"That the ability to achieve hypnosis is within you. I do not
hypnotize you. You do. I will not force you into hypnosis. However, if you
really wish to be hypnotized at your own pace and by your own
effort, all you have to do is to follow the XYZ suggestions. If
you follow these in sequence, you should readily develop a nice,
pleasant state of relaxation, provided that you really wish to
reach the ultimate goal of very, very deep relaxation".
6.) It is always better to repeat words like relax, going deeper
and deeper into relaxation. This increases relaxation.
7.) It is better to first build simple suggestions of ideosensory
and ideomotor sequentially followed by advanced ones. This
process helps to remove voluntary movements and is favorable to
hypnotic relaxation. For example "With each breath (ideomotor) you take
and every number you count backward (ideosensory), you will allow
yourself to go deeper and deeper into this perfect relaxation"..
8.) To facilitate the process and the acceptance of suggestions, it
would be a better idea to reinforce a psychological suggestion
(ideosensory) by a physiological effect, such as lightly
stroking limb or touching forehead.
9.) Go slow when giving suggestions, allowing ample time for each
suggestion to be absorbed.
10.) Never ever tell the subject that he was difficult to induce.
Always use positive words such as "You did a fantastic job, and
you will do a better job next time".
11.) It is perfectly normal that some people are difficult to go
into hypnosis. Never blame them for this. Instead of condemning
them for the failure, give them a pat on the back and say a few words of
encouragement.
12.) Now you will learn a simple technique on how to hypnotize
successfully in first attempt. Ask the subject "Do you want to be hypnotized."
You can use a progressive relaxation induction. Look for
the signs, rapid eye movement, testing them and when the
person is in a relaxed state give them a positive suggestion
that would be beneficial for them.
And awaken them by giving them specific instructions such as..
"I'm now going to awaken you by counting from 1 to 3. On the
count of 3, you will awaken, feeling wonderful, refreshed & alert.
For these brief minutes of deep hypnosis relaxation, It
is amazing what a few minutes of hypnosis can do to you. You will
really enjoy hypnosis and want to be hypnotized again. Now, 1...coming
out slowly, 2... yes, feeling refreshed and alert, 3...open your eyes feeling
refreshed, alert and feeling just wonderful.
After the subject opens their eyes, ask them how much time they were
under hypnosis, they will say a few minutes. They say that because you
gave them a suggestion during awakening [a few minutes of deep
hypnosis relaxation] but actually the time is more than a few minutes.
You can show them the watch to prove it. This is the power of
suggestions.
Always remember these points, whenever you induce hypnosis and
be confident of yourself. Confidence is the key.
Follow these tips and keep practicing . I'm sure you will come
up with flying colors.
In less than one hour, you'll be able
to put a person into a genuine hypnotic trance!
I will post a basic Induction you can use in my next article.
I hope this information is useful and helps you have more success.

| | Erotic Hypnosis and Relationships | | | Saturday, May 17, 2008 (8:02 PM) (I'm feeling creative) | | Erotic Hypnosis
Enhancing your love life is something that every long term relationship eventually requires and it can be done with erotic hypnosis easily and quickly. Sooner or later your love life will be affected by the regular stresses of everyday life and many other factors that may make your love life seem lacking. Often we hear that our partners are too tired to make love or perhaps there is a problem in the relationship that make love making just a bit more difficult than it used to be. Erotic hypnosis can keep both of you stimulated in preparation for good sex.
For starters it helps for you to be able to incorporate playfulness in the bedroom. Using erotic hypnosis can be fun and exciting, as well as funny. It helps dissolve tension and also helps you to get closer to your mate.
Learning how to become more spontaneous when it comes to erotic hypnosis can also help you to improve your love life. The reason for this is because it lets your mate know that you still find them sexy and attractive, which is the key to a great love life. Here are some more tips to making your love life better:
1. Try to add some spice into your relationship by bringing toys to the bedroom with you. It can really make a huge difference.
2. Role playing is a great way for you to be able to make your love life a great deal better. It is also a good way to explore fantasies.
3. Explore your fantasies with your mate and be very specific in your requests. Just be sure that both you and your mate are comfortable with your ideas.
4. Be willing to talk openly with your mate about what you want in the bedroom. Use sexual talk in explicit yet stylish ways.
5. Having an open mind toward sex is a key component in keeping your love life secure. Use erotic hypnosis to keep the excitement alive.
6. Having sex in different areas other than the bedroom can spice up any relationship and add a sense of danger to it.
7. Trying new and different positions can really make a difference in your love life.
There are just so many things that you can do to make your love life better that it can be difficult to settle on any one in particular. I recommend using erotic hypnosis, as it is a really powerful way to keep the passion alive in your love life.
If you are willing to explore new territories, like erotic hypnosis, it can lead you to a more fulfilling sex life with your partner. Most of what is needed is an open mind because that is when the inhibitions are lower. A good sex life is very important to any relationship and a willingness to do whatever you can to spice things up helps as well. | | | 67 Views | 0 Thumbs Up | 0 Comments

| | WHAT IS HYPNOSIS? | | | Tuesday, April 22, 2008 (2:33 PM) (I'm feeling accomplished) | |
What is hypnosis? Well, hypnosis is a heightened state of awareness where incredible changes can be made in the way a person thinks. Hypnosis is a completely natural path from conscious mind to subconscious mind. It is defined as the bypass of the critical factor of the conscious mind and the establishment of acceptable selective thinking.
How does hypnosis work? What hypnosis does is this. It relaxes the conscious mind and opens the subconscious mind to the point that suggestions can be accepted. Once the suggestion is accepted and agreed on by the person hypnotized the suggestion then becomes a stable, strong pillar in that persons belief system.
What can hypnosis be used for? The real question is what can't hypnosis be used for. I've seen hypnosis used for many, many issues. Basically, it can be used for anything a person can imagine. Losing weight and quitting bad habits is most commonly known. There is confidence, insomnia, stress and sports improvement to name a few. There are also hypnotherapists doing some fabulous things with early stage cancer these days too.
Who can be hypnotized? Absolutely everyone! There is not a person in this world that can not be hypnotized. You will find some other hypnotherapists that will say otherwise. But more then likely, they were taught some old techniques like the progressive relaxation induction. The sad thing is, this is the most commonly used induction. The progressive relaxation induction is a long, drawn out process of relaxing the entire body, part by part. This usually takes about 30-45 minutes and only is known to work on about 70% of the people it's used on. With RapidTransformations, you will get the new techniques that are taught today. We use what is called rapid inductions. With this process you will be deeply hypnotized within 4 minutes, while also enjoying complete body and mind relaxation. These rapid inductions work every time. So, yes, everyone can be hypnotized.
How long do the results of the session last? When you go into a hypnosis session and get the results you want, those results are with you for life.
How long has hypnosis been around? It is believed by many that hypnosis has been around since the time of the Egyptian pyramids. Some believe that it was the practice of hypnosis that made the Egyptians so advanced for their time. Others believe that it dates back even further in time. There really is no way to know when it was first used.
Do you think hypnosis is here to stay or just a fad? If you have noticed lately, the word hypnosis is surfacing all over the place. For the first time ever, people are being educated about this subject and the fears of hypnosis are being cleared. I truly believe it is here to stay and that one day it will become such common practice as brushing your teeth. It's inevitable with its natural simplicity and effective results. How else could you get the rapid progress you get with hypnosis?
Does the practice of hypnosis conflict with religion? No, not at all. Hypnosis is a natural state that everyone possesses within themselves. If anything this can be used to become better people to one another. If you were to eliminate all the negativity inside you right now, wouldn't you feel more at peace with the world? We believe that this is a gift that was given to us to improve the way we live.
Can a person in hypnosis be controlled? No way! It only appears that way in stage hypnosis, where the hypnotist asks for volunteers or picks people out of the crowd that most likely would have been the class clowns in high school. Professional hypnosis is quite different. A hypnotherapist is there to help you with your issues and needs your cooperation with the process. If the hypnotherapist were to give you suggestions that you didn't agree with or were morally against your beliefs, you would either refuse them or you would stand right up and walk out of that session. You must also understand that when hypnotized, you do not black out. You actually hear and see everything very clearly.
Can a person be stuck in hypnosis? Never! If you are thinking, what if I was to be hypnotized and something were to happen to the hypnotist and I were left alone, still hypnotized? What would happen? Simple. You would just snap right out of hypnosis whenever you were ready. When you are in a state of hypnosis, anything alarming or of importance would pop you right out of this state. There is absolutely no danger to you in a state of hypnosis.

| | Hypnosis | | | | Tuesday, April 22, 2008 (2:28 PM) | | Hypnosis: The Truth
Hypnosis is a powerful tool to assist people in achieving goal(s) they are working towards. From observing results obtained through hypnosis, the power of the subconscious mind and its ability to create positive change without any conscious effort on the part of the client would amaze most people.
Some areas in which hypnosis has been used with great success are weight control, smoking, memory, concentration, insomnia, pain management, dentistry, surgery, sales achievement, nail biting, stuttering, study habits, sports, self-esteem and many others.
Two of the most common reasons people seek a hypnotherapist are to quit smoking and weight control. Many smokers who have failed in other stop-smoking programs turn to hypnosis as a safe, reliable method to eliminate the habitual craving for cigarettes.
Many smokers have unsuccessfully tried various methods to quit smoking. Smoking has been proven to be a major factor in illnesses and deaths in the United States. Though smokers generally know the benefits of being a non-smoker, they still have difficulty kicking the habit. When you have them relive the taste of their very first cigarette, and show them the events that caused them to continue smoking, the habit generally is eliminated with ease.
The same technique is effective for weight control. Most overweight people have never released the emotional reasoning behind their overeating; therefore their weight continues going up and down the scale. These emotions, which are deep-rooted in a past event, have caused them to overeat for protection, anger, security, self-preservation or self-rejection.
Most often the person is consciously unaware of this event. The hypnotherapist helps locate the event, sealed in the subconscious, which kindled this behavior and changes the individual's perception of that event, thus eliminating the source of the problem. Upon successful resolution, the individual has no further need to remain overweight and the excess weight releases easily and effortlessly.
Dieting, which is frustrating, rarely eliminates excess weight permanently or the subconscious need for overeating. Until the person gives in to their subconscious desires, dieting is a form of torture. Through hypnosis, the subconscious mind is conditioned for behavior modification quickly and easily. This also holds true for people who want to gain weight.
This is where the law of cause and effect goes into process. Every problem (effect) has a cause. When that cause is eliminated from the subconscious mind, the problem will vanish.
Phobias (fear of water, heights, flying, dentist, driving, public speaking, closed-in places, crowds and even fear of success and/or failure) are frequently remedied in just a few sessions. We simply target the cause, change the person's perception of the event and usually the fear disappears.
Many people have found pain can be drastically reduced or eliminated through hypnosis. In the mid-1800s, hypnosis was commonly used as an anesthesia for surgery, child-birth and dentistry in the United States.
Unfortunately, because of fears and misconceptions, many people are reluctant to contemplate hypnotherapy. They believe the hypnotherapist can: (1) control them; (2) learn their deep, dark hidden secrets; or (3) make them do foolish or ridiculous things. These fears and misconceptions, fed by misinformation, and uncaring Stage Hypnotists are completely without merit. During a session the person is in complete control. As a matter of fact, their senses are far more acute in a hypnotic state than at any other time.
Although hypnosis is not a cure-all, it has helped millions of people in many areas of their lives. Many of our problems are caused by our mental perceptions. It is true! Have you ever noticed a child outside playing with his/her friends. He/she falls down and scrapes the knee, but gets right back up and continues playing. He/she only begins to feel the pain when someone points out to him/her that the knee is bleeding. As the saying goes, "What the mind causes, the mind can cure. Wellness begins in the mind". | | | 53 Views | 0 Thumbs Up | 0 Comments
