 Malta
Saturday, June 27, 2009 (7:35 AM)
My this years trip was to Malta.

For those that wonder where Malta is located, its an island between Sicily and Tunesia
The country is part of the European Community and has also the Euro.
The maltes language is a mixture of arab an italian but most speak english thanks to the english colonial time until the early 60s.....

We stayed only 10 days and had very hot weather for our climate.

Malta and Gozo form the republic

Malta has a very dense population that compares the our Ruhrgebiet which is highly populated. On the south east coast is conglomarate of cities that connect to one large built up of towns reaching all along the coast from South to North.
Malta has a very long history and was attacked by many including the Turks, Germans, French with Napoleon and taken as colony by Britain.

The Order of St John plays a big role in middle age and is supported by the knights of the order St John, from many european countries. Valletta the capital looks like a huge fortress still today. The grand harbour played a strategical role in world war II

I will show a film of the harbour in the coming days.

I start my films with the last night in Spinola Bay where we stayed, a concert-serenade, listen to a lovely young lady voice performing in open air, harbour Spinola Bay

The eldest stone structure in the world is found on Gozo island, 6000 years old !!!!
Even older then Stone Henge

 Deleting Videos
Saturday, April 4, 2009 (8:33 AM)
(I'm feeling annoyed)
LV is deleting videos without sending a mail

I presume copy rights is what they are on about

Since they dont relly know what is free music from the net, they just delete, thats less work.

Now to You Tube: They have a big fight going on in Germany about copy rights,
Our GEMA an organization that collects money for artists etc, demands now x amount of money per clicked video
Of course Youtube will not comply and rather deletes single videos, removes sound or even deletes a channel completly....

My channel was deleted yesterday, it says for not complying to the rules laid out...

Hard times ahead for many.....they delete thousends of videos and or accounts, its about big money....millions i guess

That was even reported in prime time news here

The question comes up, what exactly is copy right

Taking Music that is not your own....Copy right

When i play a tune that i have not composed, its copy right

Summing that up, 90 % and more  films can be deleted, the rest would be own compositions that rather few people are interested in

The same apllies for picture material, at least here i can say 99% of what i show is my own, yet i find my pictures all over in the net, even on LV That is also copy right infringement. On the other hand, it says i must mark the picture copy right,

The music i used is from the net, to me free of copy rights.

Rather confusing issue

Lets see what gives.
Make a new account in youtube ???? kicked out cause of my email adress,

change provider to get another email, no way......

Well easy just stop producing and posting videos to LV or youtube,

that will be a never ending story....

Georg

Any comment to that ?????

Villeneuve, Cléry St André, Chateau Chambord
Saturday, October 11, 2008 (11:50 PM)
First stop over in VilleneuveB&B

As planned we arrived in Villeneuve at about 18:30

The Hotel we wanted to stay in ( Vieux Moulin) was fully booked, they arranged a substitute a B&B Very nice couple and romantic rooms in old victorian style.

A good nights rest and continue the trip via Sens - Orleans to our first visit:

The Clery St. André.

A cathedral like church with history , in a village

Louis XI build that church, his crypt is in the church

Video will be posted sometimes

Chambord my favorite castle which was built for pleasure only by Francois 1., and was never a residence of a king. Big Parties and hunting took place.

The unique part is a double story staircase, people can walk up and down without passing each other. That was liked by the kids those days who played with the king....

On top of the castle, are village like structures with individual houses

In the evening a laser show with music entertains the visitors.
