(I'm feeling disappointed) | | FREE SPEECH. It doesn't mean anything. They make a fuss about having "Freedom of speech" in America and the west because it's like a rapist raping their victim... You can yell all you want. You can "speek" all you want. Go ahead! Make a fuss- get up on a soapbox and speek until you fall over. The trick is you don't have any "Freedom of action".
So I know all of that but still. We can hold onto and live with the ideal in our personal lives and in our dealings with each other on websites such as LiveVideo. Can't we? And if you understand the concept of "free speech" you understand that it applies specifically to the kind of speech that you do not agree with... that might upset you or trouble you... the kind of speech that you're against- that you feel is wrong, etc. etc. etc. NOT the speech that everyone agrees with and thinks of as just fine and dandy. That type of speech doesn't need any special mention in laws and such to be protected- everyone agrees with it... The idea is to protect and to stand up for the speech that you DON'T agree with.
So Noam Chomsky writes a forward for a book that denies the Holocaust and suddenly Chomsky is a Holocaust denier. Right?
I write a defense for this apopper279 character and their silly little balloon videos and suddenly I'm a pedophile. Right?
You people aren't THAT dumb are you? I know it's easier sometimes to just stop thinking- but sometimes that can lead to trouble. When something like this apopper279's video content comes up we tend to stop thinking, to stop taking in data, turn off the recievers, and turn into a mindless mob chanting mantras of an indoctrinated and shared groupthink reinforcing each others histrionics in pitiful attempts to reassure ourselves and the world that we are human, we do feel, and we do care. See how outraged we are!?!?!? Doesn't that prove how much we care?!?!?! If this same outrage is lacking in you well then you must not care! You must be one of them! Shudder!
Morever there's an incredible level of sex-negativity associated with this particular outrage. I viewed thumbanials and a few seconds of one of apopper279's videos before they were removed and I didn't see anyone getting "buggered", I didn't see any nudity, I didn't get the feel that it was child porn, I didn't see any pain, violence, harm, or trouble... What did I see? I saw a weird fetish most likely sexual. So what? I personally won't be letting any children of mine or that I know attend any parties thrown by ol' apopper279, and I won't be watching any of his videos if he comes back, but I honestly fail to see the need to take any further action or make any more of a fuss than that. Can someone explain that to me? That need for further outrage and to take agressive action against someone like this... can someone explain that to me without calling me a pedophile? I doubt it.
Think of how many children suffered some sort of harm or injustice during the time it took to make, post, and write all the videos and bulletins all of you have made, posted, and written about this. Right there in your own town! Stuff all of your phony, misguided, misplaced, self-righteous outrage in your shoes and GET OUT THERE and DO SOMETHING if you care so deeply!!!!! Quit flagging online videos of some weird balloon/kid fetish. That's not going to make any real difference at all- other than to soothe your insecurity and massage your guilt ridden egos for a little while and make you feel just a little bit better about yourselves for a little while until the next opprotunity at being offended and outraged comes along and you can pile more false compassion and phony care on top of your guilty and condemned souls from the comfort of your own homes with your electricity and internets and fancy computer machines.
I wonder how many kids were blown up in Iraq during this entire apopper279 episode?
Just imagine what we could do if we could get as outraged over atrocities like 9/11 and WAR as we do over sex and weird sexual fetishes and perversion. I think we just might be able to "Save the world" then, whatever that means, but alas and alack- we apparently can't, can we? No. It takes a good sexual charge to get us going.
We la di da. Good for you lot.
I just hope I never see any of you ever going on and on and complaining about censorship again.
I trust you won't be thaaat hpyocritical and dishonest!

(I'm feeling confused) | | One good thing about YouTube? A simple, clean, easy to understand, intuitive layout and interface. One bad thing about YouTube? They keep deleting my accounts and not telling me why. Then I re-upload over 120 videos. They delete me again. I re-upload. One good thing about Livevideo? I hear tell they do not do this type of thing and you're not likely to get deleted over here. One bad thing about Livevideo? Hold on a second and let me get to the right page, oh I am here, this is the blog section of my account right? Where's my videos? Oh, there's a tab... let me see how other people have their ... their... not channels... profiles? set up. Ok let's look. Can't see anything! "Who's Live?" is all I see... oh no, that's on the page when you actually click a video... other people have videos placed at various points over their... uhm, profile, so it's like MySpace and you can edit html... Wait a second, where am I again? Under my blog right? Now how do I see if I have any messages, where was that again... wait a second, what? I don't know! Tell me! WHO'S FREAKING LIVE! Uhm...
So yeah... point is it's jumbled, confusing, not very intuitive, and very spammish. I guess this is why Google always wins. (yeah, that or the magic reptilian occult rituals- nah, I'm not on the stuff).
