(I'm feeling melted...) | | Well that snow was hardly worth typing about... gone in one day... Evil remembers back in ancient history times when Evil was a child there was snow six foot deep for six months... must be global warming... or that damned thievin' Grinch again... or Evil exaggerates... but Evil does think there used to be more snow... Evil wants there to be snow in winter... no snow in winter is sacrilege...

There is snow falling in Evil's general area... no hills for Evil to ski down though... or more accurately, there are no hills for Evil to fall down while attempting to snow-ski... Evil has tried snow-skiing... Evil spent more time falling down the hill than skiing down the hill...

Ski, wakeboard... Evil did both, TheRonz only skied... But TheRonz and Paul rode the jet-ski, and Evil didn't... The water was only second-week-of-June cold, not even close to Mother's-Day cold...

People skied... people wakeboarded... kids riding tubes... adults riding tubes... humanoids were camping all over the place... jet-skis were involved at one time... fish were caught...
In short... a typical Labor Day weekend...

Boat fixed... an electrical problem, as suspected... TheRonz and Evil would have eventually fixed it with their "buy new parts until you find the problem" method... for about the same money...

No ski, no wakeboard...
the boat seems to be broken...
the engine does not want to run right... then it does... then it doesn't... then it does...
kinda like that, which can really torque a dude's lug nuts...
So TheRonz and Evil just drive the boat around hoping that whatever will break so that Evil or TheRonz can identify what the malfunction is, and fix it...
The boat is letting uninvited water on board again...
The two best (most expensive) life preservers decide to abandon ship and go for a swim sometime while Evil and TheRonz are cruising aimlessly... or can one cruise aimlessly on a lake... no matter which way one turns the boat, it will be aimed at the land... anyway, the life preservers were lost at sea, never to be seen again...
The boat leaves the lake with the same intermittent problem it came with... plus a hole in the hull again... minus two life preservers...
Thursday, Aug 21;
No ski, no wakeboard...
TheRonz and Evil patch the hole in the boat, replace some parts with new parts and go to the lake for some test abuse...
The boat is keeping the water on the right side of the fiberglass again, but the new parts did not fix the engine problem...
No sight of the missing life preservers... (they do float, right?) someone will find them washed up to the shore somewhere, someday...
The boat leaves the lake still broken... again...
Friday, Aug 22;
No boat...
TheRonz throws in the towel... TheRonz decides to take the boat to people who get paid to fix boats... So, since TheRonz is at work, Evil tows the boat to such a place...
