(I'm feeling geeky) | | Hey guys! I've just started adding music videos to my page. I only have a handful up at the moment, as they take a while to upload and I am never home! Nonetheless, I'll keep stickin' 'em up and will hopefully be able to figure out how to start playing them on my show soon. I've always wanted to be a veejay and am ready to bring MTV back! Think early nineties - Duff Days - when shows like 'Headbangers Ball' were the only types of shows on MTV? Most of us were little kids or not even born yet, but trust me, it was good stuff! Screw the Reality TV...I am SO over it and ready to bring the good tunes back via Live Video.
So be patient with me. It's hard to find OFFICIAL videos out there and a lot of the stuff on Youtube is just homemade stuff with music playin' in the background. (I'm feeling dorky) | | HEY GUYS! This is my first blog entry - EVER! One of my favorite things in the world to do is listen to music, and I love finding great new bands. If you've not yet heard MIDNIGHT JUGGERNAUT, please go check them out! They're one of my new faves and they are really, really cool. They're an Aussie band and so many cool bands have been popping up on the scene from Australia lately. A lot of you have probably been listening to Wolfmother, Jet, and some of the other cool bands from the land of Oz, but MIDNIGHT JUGGERNAUT are not getting the cred they deserve! They are sort of a blend of rock, techno, industrial, and dance. They're really innovative and have a very full and rich sound, much like the band MUSE (in the full and rich sound sense). If you like old school industrial, like KMFDM and Front 242, then you'll LOVE this band. They've got some eighties influences in there, too, so if you're a Depeche Mode or Duran Duran fan, then you'll also love them. Or if you just like to dance, you will love them as well!!! Check 'em out!
I'll try to post some music stuff as frequently as I possibly can and hopefully if I can get the right production crew together with the proper set up (hint, hint, LIVE VIDEO team!), then I can bring MTV back! 'Memba when they played videos and they were cool and you could almost ALWAYS turn on MTV and learn something fascinating about MUSIC? No, I don't want to DATE YOUR MOM!
