 I Contribute to Peace
Tuesday, May 27, 2008 (10:54 AM)

I contribute to Peace when I:

• strive to express the best of myself in my contacts with others.

• use my intelligence and my abilities to serve the Good.

• feel compassion toward all those who suffer.

• look upon all men and women as my brothers and sisters, regardless of race, culture, or religion.

• rejoice over the happiness of others and pray for their well-being.

• listen with tolerance to opinions that differ from mine or even oppose them.

• resort to dialogue rather than to force to settle any conflict.

• respect Nature and preserve it for generations to come.

• do not seek to impose my conception of God upon others.

• make Peace the foundation of my ideals and philosophy.

 Worthy Principles to Live By
Tuesday, May 13, 2008 (5:55 AM)
(I'm feeling loved)

AWARENESS AND AWAKENING: All personal authentic spiritual growth is based on growth in self-awareness and our conscious awakening to the dangerous illusions created by our primitive egos.

MIDDLE PATH: All truth is paradox and is found only in the gray between black and white either/or thinking where opposites are held in dynamic tension. No one possesses absolute truth.

UNITY: There is no "other", we are all connected. We are all part of the Consciousness that created the universe. Diversity is part of creation, and "otherness" is an illusion of the primitive ego.

LIVING IN THE PRESENT: Reality, truth, beauty, faith, love, happiness, spirituality and peace can only be found by developing the spiritual skills of living in the present moment.

SILENCE AND LISTENING: The journey into authentic spiritual growth leads us into solitude, silence and the ability to listen to others with a compassionate heart.

CO-CREATION: As self-conscious beings, we are co-creators with the Creator of the Universe. We have the ability to create form: both good and evil (suffering, and violence).

LIVING THE PRINCIPLES OF GENTLE KINDNESS: Spirituality requires the development of formal spiritual practices. We grow spiritually by living gently, developing deep self-awareness and doing no harm to others or the earth we live on.

BUILDING COMMUNITY: Living together peacefully and building compassionate community requires emptiness; the ability to let go of our primitive ego beliefs, certainties, fears and prejudices that reside in each of us and create otherness, violence, conflict, and suffering in the world.

 Lessons from the Light
Monday, February 11, 2008 (3:43 AM)
(I'm feeling Enlightened)
  • Insights From Sandra's NDE

  • Listen to that small inner voice in your thoughts; it is the voice of God.

  • Our soul is a part of God and God is a part of us; therefore, our souls are immortal and eternal.

  • Hardships are necessary for the growth of our soul.

  • Those born with mental or physical afflictions are more spiritually advanced than others, born to help others evolve spiritually.

  • The physical body the spirit enters is chosen prior to birth.

  • If an addiction isn't conquered before your physical death, it could keep your spirit earthbound.

  • Earth is only one realm of learning; there are many.

  • Hell is a state of being we create by being away from God until we choose to return to him. It is a state totally devoid of love.

  • All you do and think is known to God, and God understands everything perfectly, and loves everyone just the same.

  • All the pain we feel or cause is felt by God.

  • In order to become one with God, work must be done to remember or find the truth. The truth is this: your true self is a spirit and your spirit is one with God.

  • Love, being God, is too immense and profound to ever be fully understood or experienced in the physical world.

  • The universe is God's cathedral.

  • God created differences in religion because of the different lessons we all need to learn.

  • When you do unto others, you do unto God and yourself.

  • The beginning of all sin is seeing self as separate from others and God.

  • There are only two true religions - the religion of love and the religion of fear.

  • Communication in the spiritual world is telepathic. Your thoughts are answered as rapidly as your mind can send and receive them.

  • When you die, everything you have said, thought, or done will be known by all.

  • There are no secrets in the afterlife.

  • Spirits with evil thoughts avoid the light because they are too ashamed to have their life revealed.

  • Spirits with like thoughts are drawn to each other in the afterlife.

  • God's paradise for us is love. We can create paradise again if we learn to love one another as ourselves.

  • There is one God who is worshipped through many different teachings of many different religious faiths.

  • The gods of one faith are the angels, saints, or supernatural beings of other faiths.

  • In the search for truth and understanding, all paths lead to love.

  • God is love, light, and the energy in all. God is the source of perfect love and all life.

  • God loves and forgives you, and expects you to love and forgive others.

  • The only thing that lives forever is love.
