| | Investigations | | | | Monday, May 12, 2008 (8:13 AM) | | Looks like we'll be heading to IOWA to do an investigation at the Villisca Axe Murder House in the next couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to this one and am hoping that we pick something of interest up there.
We've done a few private home investigations over the past few weeks but really only got something from one empty apartment. We'll probably be going back there to do another investigation to debunk some things we got and/or pick up something else. A couple of the things we got was John's glasses fogging up for no apparent reason in the bedroom. There were no open doors and no heat going. So that is one of those, lets see if it happens again. Also while we were recording, the door that is locked from the outside opened up when we said, "If you want us to leave, let us know". We picked up a lot of different sounds on our recorder, while no one was present in the room. There was a cam running in there at the time but it caught nothing. Couldn't really tell where the sounds were coming from but again, something worth checking out some more. It just so happens that someone that works there had said that they saw a man standing not far from the door of that apartment. Was she just seeing things or, was there really something there? People have spoke of seeing or experiencing them for years so this is not a new subject or a new experience. No one can be sure of what this really is. Some say that they get a feeling of evil when one is present But is this because the association of blackness being evil? Some descriptions of the shadow people have been a blackness, sometimes in the shape of a human but with no facial features. When the shadow is seen in the dark, the shadow is even darker than the blackness around it. It ranges from only a few feet high to maybe as high as 7 feet. The shadows have been known to appear and actually block out what's behind it, unlike the sightings of ghostly apparitions. More often than not, people that see them generally just get a glimpse of something out of the ordinary out of the corner of their eyes but when they look directly at it, it disappears. Now does this mean it was really there or just a figment of their imagination? When these figures move, they move quite quickly and disappear just as fast. I myself have seen a dark figure dart across my room only to disappear into the wall but as it passes by things in my room, it actually blocks the objects. At times when I'm feeling like I'm being watched, I've spotted one and when I turn to look directly at, it's darts away or just flat out disappears. So are the Shadow People also a form of the paranormal? All we can do or say at this point is, we can gather our evidence of both the shadow people and other paranormal activities and maybe even prove to those that choose to keep a closed mind, that there is infact something behind all of this. | | | | 84 Views | 4 Thumbs Up | 2 Comments | |
