I REALLY DIDN'T EXPECT a Reply from Live Video, for the following reasons:

1) ~ The disabling came after deletion from the Moderator. 
Traditionally, the Moderator often deleted content from 
Channels, that were either put back up, or re-uploaded
and accepted by the Administrator. In MY case, the 
Administrator was nowhere to be found! Which would suggest
that, perhaps, we have an new "Media Crusader" amongst 
the newhire Moderators, who has taken it upon themselves to
"delete and disable at will" - in which case, I may be, either,
an "example" or "just the beginning" !!!  


2) ~  LV kinda "hedged around" the "three strikes" rule they tout
is used - when we're WARNED twice!!  Instead, I would 
presume, they used the Leno video, then went to the group
of comments I uploaded at the same time, DECLARED them
OFFENSIVE and yelled, "1-2-3 STRIKES, YUR OUT" !!! 
*lmao*  This follows along the same line, similar to the tee
shirt, "don't under estimate the power of stupid people in 
large groups" !!! -*- Except, here, we can say, "Absolute 
Power Corrupts Stupidly" !!! -*-  Like Mel Brooks once said, 
"hey, it's GREAT to be The King" !!!  *grin*

3) ~  Live Video, in MY case at least, has rarely if ever responded
to me AT ALL!!  I believe there are many here who fall into
this category - where we attempt to address "issues" here,
have identified problems, either in content or program, try
to report it, then are generally ignored.  
My Friends and Crew Members, BEHOLD!!  WE ARE INDEED
THE "LITTLE PEOPLE" !!  We're tolerated, have some 
popularity but are rarely looked at and never really listened 
to by the "Staids" of Live Video.  
I've known I was in that category from practically Day 
One!  But it really doesn't bother me much as long as I'm 
having fun here!!  In fact, it's kinda cool because my Inbox
doesn't get filled up and I don't usually get hassled by those
trying to "Steal My Thunder" as it were!! *lol*  
But, YES, Folks, those of us who download videos and upload
them on this site, aren't really regarded that much! we were 
"tolerated" - until our habits became a problem with large 
corporations, dissatisfied with whatever "Bailout" monies they
acrued, decided to "take their ball and go home" as it were. 
In other words, they listened to their legal departments more
than their marketing departments and decided we were "eating
away their bottom line" - in other words, being a pain in their
"assets" !!  So, they went crying to the Supreme Court and
cajoled their "like-counterparts" that the People (you notice - 
they never really DID go after the companies!) were now their
own "Axis Of Evil" and must be stopped!!  
So, living in a Society that still believes Marijuana is the 
"gateway drug" to "Heeron & Hell", and too afraid of losing to 
sharper corporate lawyers, They, (movie&music corps) Put the
"Cabosh" on Us!!  Now, they're free to take houses and every
penny from private citizens - or the PARENTS of private 
citizens - to make up for their tepid box office receipts!!!  
ALSO, they've managed to scare many of the "dump sites" (for
our purposes, we'll call them "social sites"), to steer away 
from putting up otherwise old and forgotten videos on Their
sites!  So, allow me to float the question - (WHO REMEMBERS
MORK OR ALF?!)  BUT, if we attempt to put a five minute
bit - that was moderately funny and entertaining- on this site,
there's a good chance the upload will be deleted and we may 
warned not to attempt that again!!  

There are MANY AND VARIED reasons why this is happening, both to me and to others here on Live Video.  The REAL SHAME IS, it is done rather "randomly" and with what I call "benign malevolence" !!  
Ever go to a government office and have to deal with a clerk at a window?!!  THERE YA GO!! As long as folks steer their way "under the
radar" of LV's "ADNAZI's", nobody will get hurt.  And for those of
us who don't have the common sense - or just can't help themselves - what has happened to me will probably keep going on until the day Live Video steers COMPLETELY away from the "Video" and goes with the "Live" !!! *smile* 

SO, At THIS juncture, I'll kinda throw the preverbial "ball" back in Their Court.  Not that it's going to amount to much.  Being a "Little People", expendable and of no consequence to the Company, they'll do what they have been doing for that past three years - hit the "delete" button, then grab a bite to eat before Lunch!!!  *nods*

I HAVE chosen the "Comic Sans" font because I happen to like it, regardless of it's "sans business" appeal, and because of the "controversy" surrounding this otherwise "innoquious" little font.  It's surprising to me that We, as a Society or "social order", would be so immersed in such nonsense, whilst there are so many larger issues to concern ourselves with in our time.  I think it has to do with the notion, from many of us, that we are but "one grain of sand on the beach" - instead of collectively enjoining ourselves, in one great voice, and being "the whole damned beach", instilled with the power of our "collective voice"!!  Instead, we hide behind our notion of a grain of sand - then wait patiently and quietly to be stepped on. And to make ourselves feel better, we gripe about font styles !!!   

Be that as it may, over the last couple of days, we have experienced a great change in our "LiveVidian Existance" - having our uploading priviledges suspended - or taken away entirely?! - that is the question!!  In fact, the action of the Live Video administration has effectively, "live presentions" notwithstanding, reduced this site down to a glorified "MESSAGE BOARD" !!  And Mr Greespan and his minion, hasn't bothered to notify ANY of us, to my knowledge, about what is going on.  Those who may have been notified of whatever changes are taking shape at this time, are either sworn to secrecy or not bothering to "enlighten the unenlightened masses" !!   

I would suppose this is LV's method of letting us know just WHO is the "H.N.I.C." (for those of you who understand the previous accronym, please understand that it denotes an attitude rather than a racial overtone)!!  Quite honestly, and sadly, their actions over the last eighteen months denotes the character of LV's management and their total lack, or understanding of, or even concern, of the "Human Factor" in their managing of what is now considered a "Social Network" - and what could be MORE "Human" than that - without actually including a bloodstream and a pulse!!  

But leave us to ponder what LV has gone through and Its' attitudes and actions over the last, say, six months or more.  The advent of the "All New Live Video" came to us, somewhat unexpectedly, leaving vloggers, (most of which have flown the coup!), to try to explain just what was about to happen and leaving us "channel leasee's" quite uprepared for what was about to happen!  In fact, when the site went down, as it did no less than two times, for an aggregate of nearly a month, we probably wandered around like "lost souls" waiting for "opening day"!  
I even caught myself "wondering" just what I was gonna do if LV finally closed altogether, being I was becoming more and more involved in the delight and thrill of finding such a nifty little outlet for my creative "bents", not to mention finding others with like-minds to share with. 
But LV reopened and as long as we followed the tutorials, along with out own collective computer acumen, we were able to fix things and settle down to "business as usual" - or so we thought!!  Instead, we were deluged with things we weren't familiar with - and many of us didn't want to sit through tutorials and try to figure out the new format.  I don't really blame them - because I was ONE of them!!  *smile*  But other "changes" were taking place as well - constant deletions from moderators - waiting for HOURS for our videos to upload - having our priviledges taken away for what we considered little reason.  They all took their toll.  Throw in our "newest neighbors", who often turned out to be "tyrants", "trolls" and "shapeshifters", who's idea of a good time was to torment as many other channel members as possible, ostensibly for the "pure thrill" of having them close down their channel and opt out, and you have a an "All New LV" along with an "All New" atmosphere of irritation, distrust, dislike, anger, and an unsettling that forced many people to leave!!  

So, now, after all the "all new changes", we have still, another change - the inability of being able to upload - ANYTHING!!  Although most of the people who responded to my bulletin (thank you all very much btw!!), I realized that, as of last night (05/15/09), this affected "some" of us, while "others", it didn't.  Well, we can only surmise that, to the "others", it hadn't got to yet - or those "others" were more highly regarded by LV and hence, didn't have to worry about it.  
I've been a channel member since the old "Live Digital" days (albeit, I didn't participate until it became Live Video really), and an active channel member for near on to three years (you know you've been here awhile when the "NoHo's", the "WeHo's" and the "NKK" were actually producing NEW material and you couldn't wait to find out just what those "Bikini News" girls were up to next!!).  So, I heard many "accusations" and "declarations" by people about how "some" were being treated better than others.  My only attitude then - as it is now - was, "hey, more's the better if you can make a buck with this"!!  But over the last of last year, we were being treated by moderators - and even administrators whom we eventually began to regard as the "LV Nazi's"!!  *grin*  It wasn't the idea they actually deleted our videos - providing they had an actual "TOS" violation - but it was because their decisions seemed so arbitrary, without foundation and were so inconsistant, that all's this "new policing" of this site managed to accomplish was more hard feelings and a grander "exodus" from this site!!  Some have returned - but others haven't!!  
Now, we're looking at, yet ANOTHER "all new change" and many are probably asking themselves, "what now"?!!  Others are still asking themselves, "why bother" and yet others are looking upon this as an ending of what they used for affordable entertainment and a way to get out of the house without undue stress on themselves, or at a time when, coming in here, was their only way of "escape" from whatever challenges they have in their Lives!!  And, STILL, the LV administration hasn't even bothered to do the ONE THING that the "Communication Age" has claimed as their own - to COMMUNICATE !!!  

I really don't think they're going to cut out uploading alltogether - that would effectively shut down practically HALF of the channel members here.  I know of very few of us who broadcast LIVE - except as "something else" they do here, a way to garner more popularity or a way to format more "topical" and personal  material.  Laudable, yes but only a "part" of what they do - and the "other part" requires uploading!  Also, for vloggers, who often like to archive their material so other people can pick up on their information, when they can get on the computer - uploading is intregal to their operations too!  So, just be patient Folks!!  I believe LV is going through, yet, another of their "changes" - which they haven't bothered to COMMUNICATE with us - their loyal channel members!!  

In closing, if someone were to try to find a "CULPRIT" in this instance - and for most of the other "instances" within the past year - the blame can be placed firmly in the laps of LV management and staff!!  I know I look like an "ungrateful teenager" but quite frankly, all's I'm looking for is COMMUNICATION !!!
