WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Feb. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- LiveUniverse, Inc.
("the Company"), one of the largest online entertainment networks of video,
music, and social networking websites has launched LiveVideo.com. The
platform is MySpace Founder Brad Greenspan's latest creation. And as
Chairman/CEO of LiveUniverse, he is leading the charge into a new age of
social networking with LiveVideo.com. LiveVideo.com, an advanced on demand
interactive broadcasting platform, provides instant global reach and
messaging to any user with a web cam. LiveVideo.com represents the next
generation of online interaction.

LiveVideo.com, which officially launches today, is the first fully
interactive, global, live streaming platform. It allows users to connect
with others around the world 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365-days a
year. Using the LiveShow technology, LiveVideo.com users can create and
broadcast live content alone or in conjunction with friends, colleagues
and/or newly acquainted users. Distinctive LiveShow interactive features
such as LiveTextChat, LiveCoHost and LivePolls empower real time community
and social interaction and provide users with unlimited real-time feedback
and interaction. In addition, the advanced LiveShow platform allows
advanced videographers to broadcast on their channel with multiple cameras
to create professional broadcast-quality shows.

Move over MySpace, YouTube and other similar sites, LiveVideo.com not
only has innovated Live Streaming and more...community, but also consolidates
social networking features into one easy-to-use platform. At LiveVideo.com
users can manage their blogs, photos, videos, music and networking sites in
one convenient location. LiveVideo.com streamlines the online end user
experience by integrating key social networking features into convenient
tabs in every profile, providing for an unmatched user experience.
LiveVideo.com members can quickly and easily:

-- create their own LiveTV show and broadcast it to the world;
-- watch LIVE shows streaming from across the globe;
-- Social Stream: Socialize with your friends through an integrated Video
Chat Room even as you watch Shows together in a unique one of a kind
shared experience
-- participate in virtual classes, listen to live speeches and/or engage
in live interactive game shows;
-- upload videos up to 200MB with stereo sound;
-- upload photos and arrange them into professional quality slideshows for
family and friends;
-- video chat with up to 10 other people at one time;

and so much more.

LiveVideo.com kicks off by Premiering "Drive Home with Steve Nash", the
first live, direct fan interaction with an NBA superstar. Nash's first
LiveVideo.com stream will take place on Wednesday evening, February 20
following the highly anticipated Phoenix Suns / LA Lakers Match-up, which
also marks Shaquille O'Neal's first game as a Phoenix Sun and his return to
Los Angeles.

Steve Nash, the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player, will connect with
fans via the LiveVideo.com site approximately 45 minutes following the
conclusion of a game when he enters his car to drive home. During his drive
home, Nash will provide fans with his take on the game -- its highlights
and lowlights, and answer fan questions in real time. This unique, dynamic
format represents the first ever live fan Q&A opportunity with an NBA
superstar following a game.

"LiveVideo.com is leading the evolution of online content and
community," said Brad Greenspan, chairman of LiveUniverse. "Our technology,
exclusive content and usability place LiveVideo.com at the forefront of
this digital revolution."

Greenspan continued, "We're incredibly excited to have an athlete of
Steve Nash's caliber launch his direct fan interaction on LiveVideo.com.
Programs such as 'Drive Home with Steve Nash' are indicative of the type of
unique content and creativity you can expect from our site. LiveVideo.com
is ushering in a new age of online entertainment and community."

In the same vein, LiveVideo.com is committed to providing a safe and
secure user environment. While the site collects personal information from
users, such as desired username, email address, country, zip code, gender
and birth date, LiveVideo.com does not share or make public any user
information unless a user chooses to do so. Finally, the LiveVideo.com
management recognizes that the content reach of the site may be broad and
not appropriate for all age groups; therefore, steps have been taken to
ensure the safety of all its users or visitors. Those under age 14 are
prohibited from joining.

-- LiveVideo.com will also focus on being a leader in the Protection of
User Rights and providing users with platforms and opportunity to
communicate on relevant issues and stay aware of the changing
environment.

 MySpace Censors LiveVideo
Tuesday, February 19, 2008 (3:51 PM)
(I'm feeling aggravated)
Copy of an e-mail to LiveVideo Admin and Brad Greenspan

I would like to draw it to your attention that MySpace, which for some time now has been tracking links to external websites, is now censoring links of which it does not approve. LiveVideo has now fallen victim to this. Please see the attached screenshot of a MySpace link to www.livevideo.com.

I consider this behaviour to be a violation my personal freedom and human rights, as well as being an anti-competitive practice, and almost certainly illegal in US and International Law.

I would appreciate if you could address this matter on behalf of all LiveVideo users.

 Music Playlists
Sunday, February 10, 2008 (4:38 AM)
(I'm feeling contemplative)

Whos idea was it to have a paranoid music channel where they decide what you can put on your playlist.

 Was it worth the wait?
Sunday, February 10, 2008 (10:14 AM)
(I'm feeling rejuvenated)
Well only you can decide

First impressions are that:

1. most guys are a bit confused
2. half the world is not awake yet and hasn't realised what's going on
3. the Live part of LiveVideo really is as truly terrible as we all suspected and will most likely be largely ignored - the thing is - most live TV is boring, even when does by professionals. Most things on TV which apear live and spontaneous are in fact rehearsed, if not actually scripted. Message to anyone doing a blog (whether live or not) plan, script and rehearse, or at least have a rough idea of why you are going on air, or ppl will quickly get bored
4. love the tabbed screens. The main profile is very cluttered, but at least you can see a bit of everything a channel has to offer, then go to the Photos or Blog, etc.
5. I've customized my profile so each tab has a different look and feel - different background pic and colour scheme  - just love it
also, this rich text editor is not bad, but very buggy...
6. one or two things seem to have slipped through the net - multiple friend requests to crew members has gone, 'suggest to friends' not working properly
7. great to see the 'bug reporting' at last - wonder how responsive they will be...
