| | Relieving my stress | | | Monday, February 11, 2008 (10:20 PM) (I'm feeling stressed) | | On days that I feel stressed, I mainly turn to a window at my house. Or if I'm outside walking I look up at the sky. The
weather seems to calm me, and thinking only about the weather at the time relaxes me for some reason. My
favorite weather, or the weather I would prefer to walk in would have to be the rain.
I like the days when I can only hear the rain falling, falling as if the gray clouds will always be filled with rain for the rest of the day to come. While I'm out for a walk, I like to walk in any nearby puddles. For me, splashing the water out of the puddle, relieves me of most of my stress. Sure it might seem childish to some, but to me, splashing the water out of the puddle, is like splashing away all my stress that is a burden to me.
And when the rain stops falling, I only can look up at the sky, wishing that the raindrops would continue on only for a little longer. I wish the rain would fall for me, so that I can become relaxed, and not let the stress return. Because to me, the rain that I see is like my alternate personality, like a person that only the rain can show or help me express. So when the rain stops falling, I long for the next time that I will see the rain fall again, so I can see my friend, Ame.
