LOS ANGELES (August 12, 2008) – Due to overwhelming fan demand, Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew LIVE has added further dates to its 2008 North American tour, expanding across 25 cities this fall to include Las Vegas, San Diego, Phoenix, Grand Prairie, TX and Houston, TX. Presented by Glacéau vitaminenergy™– your natural energy source! – and promoted by AEG Live, the tour arrives hot on the heels of the top-rated smash MTV program, which attracted more than 11 million fan votes last week and recently won the Teen Choice Award for Best Reality Dance Show as broadcast on FOX TV. Beginning in Miami on September 18th, 2008 and running for five weeks across the country through October 23rd in Houston, TX, the tour will feature five of the hottest dance crews from the show’s first two seasons as they battle it out, live on stage each night.
Tickets to Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew Live will go on sale the weekend of August 15th-16th, and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com. Fans can visit www.dancecrew.aeglive.com for the latest tour updates and information.
"We're excited to bring AMERICA'S BEST DANCE CREW closer to you, LIVE,” said Randy Jackson, the show’s Executive Producer. “And we’re thrilled we could just add these five shows to satisfy all you fans in Las Vegas, San Diego, Phoenix and Texas. We heard your requests and read your blogs, and we’re making our way across the nation to give America what it wants. AMERICA'S BEST DANCE CREW has the greatest fans, and we just want to say thanks by giving them the hottest show of the year.”
The electrifying tour will feature the return of America’s Best Dance Crew Season 1 winners, the incredible masked men of JabbaWockeeZ. They’ll be joined by the amazing b-boys on wheels, BreakSk8, an equally exciting crew full of surprises. With three open spots remaining, competition will go into overdrive as crews previously featured on the show battle it out to earn a coveted spot on the tour; the full lineup will be announced after the show’s live Season 2 finale episode on Thursday, August 21st.
Fans caught a glimpse of the upcoming tour when JabbaWockeeZ appeared on the Teen Choice Awards broadcast on FOX. America's Best Dance Crew, which was ranked #4 on the Top 10 Dance Shows of All Time as listed in the August 4th issue of TV Guide, airs Thursday’s through August 21st on MTV, with several encore presentations throughout the week.
Tour dates and itinerary follow.

| | More Challenges, Less Mario On This Week’s ABDC | | | | Tuesday, August 5, 2008 (11:34 AM) | |
Bad news for all you Mario Lopez fans out there. This week, the remaining three crews had two challenges to conquer instead of just one, which means Thursday night’s episode is going to have way more dancing (and way less dimples) than usual.
The first challenge will be the “Groove Step Challenge,” in which the crews will be tasked with incorporating some old-school moves into their acts. Next up will be the “Dance Moves Challenge,” and while we can’t tell you all the details, we can tell you it totally taps into our unabashed love of classic 80’s movies.
Meanwhile, we’ve gone ahead and put together a list of the songs that will be mixed together for the Groove Step. Anyone else psyched about seeing Fanny pak take on Vanilla Ice’s (only) hit single, “Ice Ice Baby?”
GROOVE STEP CHALLENGE
Fanny Pak - “Word Up” (Cameo)
“Now That We’ve Found Love” (Heavy D and the Boyz)
“Ice, Ice Baby” (Vanilla Ice)
SoReal Cru - “Bust a Move” (Young MC)
“Lean On Me” (Club Nouveau)
“Every Little Step” (Bobby Brown)
Super Cr3w - “Humpty Dance” (Digital Underground)
“New Jack Swing” (Wreckx n Effects)
“Poison” (Bel Biv Devoe)
+ Any old-school anthems you think are missing? Tell us which 80’s and 90’s classics you think belong on this list. (MC Hammer, anyone?)

| | Fanny Pak Gets Struck By Bolt Of Lightening! | | | | Tuesday, August 5, 2008 (11:32 AM) | |
After stage rehearsal ended for Fanny Pak, it was time for some group bonding. So the crew headed down to the local tattoo parlor (where bad things tend to happen!) and someone had the bright idea to suggest a group inkfest. So after a few pins and needles and some girlish screams (mainly mine), all seven of them walked away with identical tats of a fanny pack wrapped around their waist.
Kidding! They all got a lightening bolt somewhere on their bodies. (Phil, Glenda and Meg chose behind their ear while Beau went for the hip, Matt for the forearm and the ever-subtle Tiffani opted to have the tattoo plastered across her entire torso.
Kidding again! (Boy, you guys are easy). Anyhow, in actuality, Tiff got the bolt of lightening zapped onto the back of her neck. And the end result was…not bad! While I don’t usually dig tattoos, I gotta give FP props for group solidarity. Plus, I’m loving the whole “stormy weather” theme. Bonus: If this dancing thing doesn’t pan out for Fanny Pak, there’s always a side-career in meteorology…

| | JC to Shane: “And That’s Hard?” | | | | Wednesday, July 30, 2008 (4:56 PM) | |
Despite the pic above, it wasn’t all hugs for JC last night. After one of the earlier performances, Shane delivered a rave review while JC delivered a bit of a dis! While he applauded this particular crew’s effort, he had to say, “I didn’t think it was difficult at all.”
The drama escalated when Shane started naming off the many “difficult” moves he noticed, to which JC responded, “And that’s hard?” Burn!
Another big moment came when one crew received a standing ovation from all of the judges, including Missy Elliott. It’s the first time that’s happened this season, but after the episode airs Thursday night, we have a feeling it may become a regular occurrence.
