I created 'Yung Yoof' when I was eighteen. I'll inevitably grow out of my teens and the name may not fit an older me but it's mine.
This year has seen my eyes open to new ideas and perspectives, I have begun to question things alot more; especially when it comes to governments and why they are no longer for their people.
Q1: Why is it we 'know' our governments are incompetent (when it comes to data)? It seems to me that governments are competent enough to pay themselves and issue themselves with pay more...rises, however they are unwilling to pay key workers their due and give them pay rises etc.
Q2: As a consequence of us 'knowing' government 'incompetence' and 'lack of major organisation', we see it as unfathomable for them to inflict atrocities on their own people. How come?
Q3:Who's truth? Do we agree based on delivery? Based on how we feel at the time? Consensus? Because going against the grain creates ridicule and is dissent?
I like to have a laugh with friends, laughter is healthy but at times when I have a belly laugh making it hard for me to breath I sometimes wonder.
I think Immortal Technique is truly amazing; he's revolutionary and he knows it! He is my #1 rapper, he along with those he works with and is lyrically close to are doing great things for Hip-Hop. I totally agree with him on '4th Branch'. I think they are partly behind our 'knowing' of certain things and not of others.
The world is in a bad state, I honestly believe in my heart of hearts that many of the issues that face this species can be easily sorted. Though things like 'it's a complex situation' are said by those who can do something, ensuring that they don't do anything at all; so it's down to us to make things better.
Peace and Love
