Whispering Smith is a group of talented musicians and songwriters that already has Nashville buzzing. The band was created by Grammy-nominated songwriter & producer, Larry Dvoskin. Larry has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry like The Beach Boys, Meredith Brooks, Sammy Hagar, Brandy, Ricky Martin, David Bowie, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Bad Company. In recent years his songs have sold over 17 million collectively worldwide.
The group will start recording in Nashville as well more...as New York in late April of 2007. The debut CD will include their original songs, as well as songs by award winning songwriters, Byron Hill ( Alabama's "Born Country") and Tim Nichols' ( "Live Like Your Dying" by Tim McGraw). With rumors of a recording deal brewing, there is no doubt Whispering Smith is on their way to becoming a household name. less |
