Not pro war, not pro military. A lot of young men and women bought all the lies from the Bush Administration, we did the same thing back in the 60's more...when we signed up to STOP COMMUNISM, you know the BETTER RED THEN DEAD scare tactics they used. Well it's TERRORISTS not COMMUNISTS but we are mired down again. Don't treat these young men and women the way we were treated when we came home from Vietnam.
More people have thanked me for my service in the last five years then all of my life before. This war has brought back bad memories, nightmares and a lot of other anger and resentment for a lot of Vietnam Vets.
If you see the signs on any of the young men and women you know as they return from Iraq or Afghanistan, then refer them to the Vet Center nearest you.

Sachie, a Japanese girl who we met while living in formerly known Beresford Manor in San Francisco. Sachie was in San Francisco attending English Language more...School. She was our neighbor in the Manor and ate Breakfast and Dinner with us in the Community dining room. She recently returned to San Francisco for a visit and may eventually move here... We like Sachie and although her English isn't great, neither is our Japanese, but we enjoyed her visit and here is part of how we communicate with her...... less
