Hobbies: Life is a hobby, learning, writing and having conversations are as well.

Movies: Many, Mindwalk, The Mission, Joe Versus the Volcano, Feast of Love, Circle of Iron, Moulin Rouge. Movies are a hobby. Love foreign films. There is usually a line worth remembering in even the worst movie. Clint Eastwood in Bronco Billy, "You can be anything you want to be in Bronco Billy's Wild West Show". I once got two movies in the mid 1990's from the library one night, Clairs Knees Directed by Rohmer and The Conversation (1974) with Gene Hackman and it was Melanie Griffith's debute. I watched the Rohner film first, and then in the second film Hackman's wife is going with a friend to see the Rohmer Film Clair's Knee (1970) and Gene drives buy the theater and the title is on the margue. What are the odds and yet, like life it is amazing what seeks us out.

Music: From Philip Glass and Einstein at the Beach, to The Dixie Chicks. Meditation music Paul Warner, Pop and current Annie Lennox, Shakira Opera Sarah Brightman, Andrea Bocelli Moody Blues to Meat Loaf Ennio Morricone and YoYo Ma

Books: Very little non-fiction unless poetry. Pablo Neruda "The Leviathon" and "The Man Watching" by Rainer Maria Rilke are my two favorite pieces and Aurobindo"s Epic "Savitri" is .......! Road Less Traveled, The Book by Alan Watts Almost any writing by Bhagwan Shree Rashneesh Currently reading a book on Evolution and another called "If Aristotle Ran General Motors" by Tom Miller.
