 | Posted Mar 16, 08 by Michael-Wraith LAST ONE, I PROMISE :) --#2 Continued from previous post-- 2. LiveUniverse and its assets of Online Communities really do keep the original dreams of its creators. (again, by observing its currently owned online communities.)
This is just an opinion, more...but not necessarily a good intervention. (Of course, if reporting certain investors or parties of interest, you should keep your sources anonymous. :) or even interview some parties or investors with interest.. ?) This is so long, lol, I should've BLOGGED this instead. Or maybe just the rantings of an observer.. :)

 | Posted Mar 16, 08 by Michael-Wraith -continued part from previous comment- http://finance.google.com/finance?q=NASDAQ:DIVX Item by item action and worth. The only time DivX has dropped has been during THEIR actions, not anyone's else. Some are already pulling their interests out, rather than being comforted. Other of us... are waiting more...and maybe buying at $2.00 a share. One comment I made in Finance Talks was: Value of a stock isn't necessarily final. Who would've known that retired confederate money would hold worth decades to come. :)
Sadly from SmallCapInvestor.com comes a punch to those that hold on to hope. "BIGGEST LOSERS" per SmallCapInvestor URL and Article
I continue to hold on to the Winston Churchill mentality, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." Also, "Success is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm." Winston Churchill
Perhaps, as I suggested, not taking a postured position, but rather reinforcing that SOME Continue to hold on to hope, success and enthusiasm from parties with interest in its Corporation, despite what MEDIA (and not LiveUniversal) has and is negatively reporting. Also, That, as some have stated, LiveUniverse IS NOT attempting to come in at the last minute to be the "Savior" of Stage6'ers... but has a genuine interest in Keeping Stage6 alive; As can be seen by observing the current online communities owned/purchased by LiveUniverse. (Just opinion here) Perhaps the combination of these 2 facts, can or will satisfy DivX Inc. Bankers and Attorneys (I can only imagine Divid Richter,) long time dedicated Corporate member.) 1. Continued diplomatic talks on reports by OTHER media or press announcements that DivX is a failing Corporation (and not LU's Press Release). A comment(s) on how some share-holders continue to hold that DivX will still yield success and enthusiasm... (thereby eliminating any concerns that LU only has itself in interest) ---Itemization Continued--- OMG... So Long... lol. less Report CommentProcessing.... |

Posted on Mashable.com: DivX made a poor decision in closing off its talks and negotiations with LU regarding the purchase of Stage6. DivX, Inc. specifically stated that the shut-down of Stage6 was in the best interest of both DivX AND its investers/share-holders. During this time, (Today and the announcement of Stage6 shut-down) DivX market price or its monetization fell severely. Many lost much money at the very announcement and panic of Stage6's closure. It did recover quite quickly, but still not to what DivX, Inc. had projected their revenues. With this public announcement by LiveUniverse, we see that lack of full disclosure to its share-holders regarding Stage6 and possible acquisition or merger with a 3rd party willing to purchase an asset that DivX had deemed a poor investment and that shutting down was its best interest, was actually NOT in its best interest nor that of Stock holders. Not at all. DivX, Inc. SHOULD have both announced their decision NOT to allow the purchase of or merger of Stage6 with LU, and explained to its Investors/Stock-holders the discrepancies in the market value of DivX, Inc. in comparison to what would have been the actual monetized value should it have proceeded with LU's offer. Come Monday (March 10), many investers will want answers to these questions. This also has been timed perfectly, and with good reason. DivX Quarterly revenue report followed by conference call, is scheduled for next week, Tuesday March 11; The day after that DivX Inc. will be confronted with the Press release by LiveUniverse. That's my thought. As well as my concern of vested interest. -------------------------------------- This is also a copy and paste comment I left at the Finance section of DivX Talks and forums of its stock-holders.
