| I am a divorced white male. I have one daughter, and she is pregnant with my first grandchild due in June 2008. I was a Navy Seal from 1968 - 1975. My Ba is in accounting. I got bored with desk work, so I went back to school to be a nurse. I became disabled in 1997 and blew up to 450 lbs. Developed diabetes in 2004, went on diet and dropped 250 lbs. I went in the hospital in October 2007, and discovered I had pancreatic cancer. They did surgery, a whipple, where they remove most of your stomach, more...the head of the small intestine, and half of the pancreas with lymph nodes. I went thru radiation treatments and am still taking chemothearpy. I now take it on Wednesdays and am usually pretty sick until Saturdays. I am a happy fun person though, I have had a good life, and well all have to die sometime or another. Who knows I may live forever. I have been building furniture for my grandson. My daughter chose the Winnie the Pooh thing, so I bought him the bassinet, a car window shader, blankets, clothes, bottles, binkies and the most needed item diapers. I guess I'm really excited, a little fellow I can spoil and have fun with, and give back when I get tired. Look forward to meeting some of you to chat with and hopefully can make a few good freinds.
