It's bad enough we live in a world full of ignorant people, violence is everywhere and we have to do something about protecting people who sometimes cannot protect themselves.
Living a life where you're constantly afraid of how people will treat you because of race, religion and/or sexual orientation is not right nor is it healthy for the individuals well being.
