When most music listeners first caught wind of songs like "Home Sweet Home" & "She Knows", chances are they never imagined that the man behind the emotional delivery and hand-woven storylines would emerge as one of the key players to watch out for. It was hard for some music insiders, to believe that the singer with the grown-up voice that was seemingly filled with years of frustration could belong to a then 22-year-old Mystro.
Embraced with glowing industry reviews, P.Mick a.k.a Mystro was poised more...to become the next Brian McKnight or R.Kelly, based in part to the God-given similarities in his voice and writing style. However, after three years of grinding hard and opening for Jadakiss, Isyss, and DJ Quik...Mystro seemed to fade out of the hollywood scene. In no time, music fans quickly began asking "Where is Mystro?
Like many new artist before him, P.Mick was caught-up in the MCA/Geffen buy-out leaving him with no home. Undaunted, he would resurface, but this time on a different playing field and hungry as ever. Using relationships created while being an artist, the S.C. native has quietly immersed himself into the production & songwriting experience, penning songs for D-12 & Dina Rae (Female Vocalist from Eminem's "Superman"), production for 2Pac's ("Me Against the World" Remix), The Game, Bishop Lamont, Yukmouth, Keyshia Cole, Marques Houston, and The Crimeez.
