I like the pic your brother submitted too.. I think in these contests and in most photo work you want to set a mood or tell a story. Being in a cemetary I think making it B&W makes it look more dreary. Also using the leaves in the foreground makes more...it more interesting. Actually I think taking picutres in overcast or rainy or snow is a lot more interesting than a sunny sky. you should have got up and taken pics. In your pictures you do a nice job of showing perspective. as a picture of a fence or road. That effect where the line of site gets smaller and smaller. Great job... when you first said about taking pics at the cemetary I thought you were going to do some gothic type pics. less

Yes they are cute. I noticed that a lot of the girls that want that look also take their picture from about and close up so their eyes look big and their heads look big compared to their bodies. They end up looking like anime characters.
Have a picuture more...of your ham bone??? I can't believe you took him to school. less

That does sound real strange that a guy is still connected to a HS friend's daughter to that level at that age. But I guess if he is still friends with the mom maybe they have a family type connection (maybe she's his daughter ha). I still know several more...of my friends. In fact my best friend in HS is still my best friend. I don't really think about where they are and what they are doing. Only the ones that I still talk to. less

Wow he has an account since he is 8?? That really surprises me. I think you are right in restricting him. My little cousin has been playing these games where they are killing each other since 4.
There is no need for him to be spending hours on YT more...at this age. Just once in awhile. Me personally .... I would remove his account or at least make sure he is not claiming to be 18 ( like you used to do ). that way at least there is some limit on what he watches. He should be on sites like Disney or something at this age, but kids are just too computer savey in these times. Has he friended Kaila yet??? hahaha. Better watch out if he wants to play monopoly with his friends. hoho.. less

I know what you mean about those shows making the parents to be jerks. BTW those shows are on ABC on sat. mornings I am pretty sure. The other thing they do that bugs more...me is they sooooo over act. I guess I meant rather than YT there are more kids shows or just going outside and playing. I used to go to the park and play baseball all the time or just bounce a golf ball off the concrete steps at the house, practice music, etc. The video games and tv seem to becoming such a big part of young kids lives. I think kids are becoming more and more isolated from the world as they spend so much time in their rooms.
A park a couple of blocks from my house used to have company picnics every weekend and I would spend my whole day there eating, playing games, just talking with people I didn't even know. (all for free HA)
Do you ever have a crush on one of your brothers friends when they come over??? Are his friends the kind of people you would be with or is one of you more neerdy??? I would have never hung with my brothers friends in HS.. We were complete opposites. My sisters are 8 and 9 years older than me so when I used to be with them it was more like babysitting me than being on their level. When I was about 9 I used to take trumpet lessons and then walk about a mile to the church and watch my sister and her friends practice for the choir. After that we would get a ride home from one of her friends.
