Ive been working in New Haven at the Yale Cancer Center. I start at 6 in the morning, so I have to get up at 4:15 to be on time. Its only an hour drive in the morning, but going through Hartford is tough at night, so Its an hour and 20 minutes coming home.
I have not had much time to go to the Masonic Hall, as meetings last too long, and I have to be in bed by 8:45. This job is going
to last for 2 years, so I think I would be better off not being a junior steward or any type of officer at this   more...time.

I received my PST solar telescope back from Meade, and it looks like they did a nice job fixing it. Now if the weather would just co-operate.  less

Well I used google earth and went to heidelberg and started searching
across from the castle. I found the place and other people had taken
pictures and I was able to get the name off the pictures. And the digital
photoes taken now are so much better then the film pictures I took in 72.

Aussichtsturm beim Stephanskloster is the old monk monistery building
that is at the bottom of the tower in ruins, and was called St Michael

The Thingstatte in Heidelberg was built in 1933 by the nazi's to refresh
  more...old pegan ways and get togeather outside for political meetings.
When I was there in 72 I had always thought it was something built
many years ago, like the tower building, but I always got the feeling
that the two Flag towers in the back sure would make nice placement
areas for machine guns in case the crowd got out of hand, little did
I know it was built by Albert Spear.

I was on a travel website trying to look up the name of a place I visited
while in West Germany back in 1972. The tower and building Im looking
for the name of is across the river from Heidelberg Castle and is
sitting on top of a steep hill.

We use to call it "The Witches Tower" but as it turns out, that cannot
be what its called, because there is a Witches Tower near
Sandgasse street in Heidelberg called "The Hexenturm" that was
built in 1392

If anyone knows the name of this place and where I can find   more...more pictures of it online, Id appreciate it.

My oldest son Michael Jr is in the Air Force. He is a new police officer
guarding nukes at a base in New Mexico. I am very proud of Him and
what he is doing with his life so far.

My Dad was on Iwo Jima with the 4th Marine Div, I was in the Army,
with Stratcom during Vietnam, My Son Mike is in the Air Force during
Iraq war, Now all I need is another year and a half, and my youngest
son Dan, will join the Navy and try to become a Navy Seal.

The only service we havnt got covered is the coast guard.   more...Guess that
may come in the future, if Im ever a Grandpa.

PS oh!!!!! I got a call from an old Army buddy and He invited me to come see Him in Ohio, while Im out of work. I was thinking about going
until I looked up the price of trains/planes/and
greyhound busses. Just too much money. When
your working you have the money but no time, when your out of work you have the time, but no
money. The circle of Life.

Well lets see, I went back to work for 2 weeks, made some good money
and got laid off again.
I received a new Hard Drive for my Birthday, and now have lots of new room to keep all the stuff I can delete in a few years. I think I now own
about 9 hard drives that are full. How many are pictures that appear
on all 9 hard drives as back ups..........oh well
