Well I spent $2181.00 to get my transmission re-built. What Joy!!!!!! So now Im thinking I will keep the truck for awhile, so I searched on craigslist for a new (used) bumper, as mine got hit in the winter at the parking lot for the yale cancer center job. The new bumper had fog lights, and being such a great electrician, I hooked em up. Well I couldnt get to the radio or any other wires, so I hooked em up to the starter relay on the fire wall. (this was a very very bad move on my part). I only   more...turned them on and off for a few seconds to show my wife and son what a great job I did. Well the wires fused togeather and burned out my starter. This all happened at a gas station, so two guys pushed me away from the pumps and over to a parking area. I had napa leave a new solenoid outside the store, as they close before my wife gets home. I installed the new part.....and nothing. So I take the starter out and bring it to autozone, who stays open till 9pm, and spent 129 on a starter. Installed it the next day, and zippo, nada. Vechical turns over now, but wont start and the starter keeps turning.

I went on craigslist and found a mechanic to come to my house. He diagnosed my problem......the new solenoid I had put on, and was very reasonable priced. Lester at 860-5083741 in case you ever need a good car guy in connecticut.

My battery was dead this morning, the bad relay (solenoid) on the firewall was drawing current all night long. I got the thing to charge to 69% and started it up. Drove to Napa and got a exchange for free, and installed it. Truck battery wouldnt start the truck. I got a guy to jump me, and I drove it home. Put the charger on, and it says my battery is now at 100%. I let it sit for awhile and it then started right up.

Moral of the story.........check what size wire you need for 6.4 amps before you go messing with lights.

I also forgot to mention my friend John Polock, who came over to the parking lot late and night and towed me to my house with a towing strap. His girlfriend is very beautiful and was very helpful in controlling john in public.

Laid off ............lost the 20 pds I gained being out of work last time, now have to try to stay off computer and do some things around the house. 5 months working out of 9, not great, but things will work out.

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Im back to work !!!!!!!!!!!! I am now doing fire alarm and HVAC for Paul Dinto Electric at the Yale Cancer Center in New Haven Connecticut !!! Deja Vue for real !!!!!

I took some video's of the outside, its changed a lot in 4 months, and then I took some from the 12th floor of West Haven

I will upload them soon.

I have been enjoying going on Facebook and looking up people I used to know and have not seen in awhile. Over 30 years has passed sense I got out of college, and its been a trip hooking up with people again. I started a South Central Community College facebook page and have emailed a few people that I knew.

I think I found my cousin Tommy, who I have not heard from in a couple of years, I hope it is him.

I long to return to work, I feel like such a bum again............


Ive been messing around   more...with the guitar, learning a few new songs. Not brave enough to post them on utube yet, or here.

Have not used scope much, lots of rain and clouds or still too cold.

I spotted Les Lytton on Heavens above doing sat reports, so I guess he still is alive after all.....  less

Hello Everyone, I was told on my birthday on thursday, that I would be laid off of work on friday. It was by far the best birthday I can ever remember in my 54 year history, even better then when I turned 40 and was working out in Lafeyette Ind because there was no work available here, I wasnt home, but at least I had a job. I know Im not the only one out of work, but I already had my turn being out of work, and this was very unexpected, as I worked my butt off and traveled the farthest of anyone.   more...
