Music: Just about anything except twangy country or rap. I like all forms and eras of rock (except Cookie Monster vocals!), alternative, movie soundtracks, instrumentals, new age, contemporary, classical. Music is the perfect companion to reading, working, or relaxing.

Books: Ah, so many to choose from! Books are like dear friends; they are always there, no matter the time of day. Among the many are: Terry Goodkind's "Sword of Truth" series, George RR Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire" series, "Bid Time Return" *sigh!*, Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series, "Gone With the Wind" & "Scarlett", "The Last Unicorn", "Watership Down", "Rebecca", Anne Rice's "Vampire Chronicles", and "Clan of the Cave Bear". There are many more I could recommend.
